Certainly capable of making a significant contribution, particularly if the boss doesn't slag him off :)

Wouldn't surprise me in the least because he has already shown he has goals in him. Odd how someone has to sling shit at Clough once more even though it was Clough who brought him to the club and by the players own admission Clough's tough love has improved him.

Or didn't that last bit really happen?

Anyone else think he could surprise a few next season? Certainly got goals in him that lad
Yep McNulty is developing nicely and Clough et al did a great job with him.

Considering he came in as a development player he really did well and his goal record is excellent. Still needs to work on a lot of things - particularly hold up play and making intelligent runs but I imagine that he'll have a decent run

The only way he'd suprise me is if he scores more than the 25 goals i think he will score if given enough chances to, he obviously has to earn the right to start in the first place as it's a new man now in charge.

Now he won't be bullied and scared to play I think he'll score at least 50 goals at this level and lead Scotland to the Euro's with a couple of hat tricks when he replaces that greasy cunt from S6. I fully expect him to stand for local council next May and be our MP come 2020 and possibly the next Labour PM in 2025. .
Can't believe bully boy didn't make him captain and play him every minute of every game, cost us the title last season that did!

Labour??? Fuck off...Independant Yorkshire Party will topple the big political liars and the revolution will begin! Independance for Yorkshire!!

Not got a problem with that, but I'm not having a fucking Scot leading us even if he is the worlds greatest footballer and has 500+ league goals to his credit. Was DDG born in Yorkshire per chance?

Chezzy wasn't it? So no :-( Chrissy Morgan for Yorkshire independance ;-)

He would surprise me by improving his poor first touch and showing a little awareness of his role in the team, beyond scoring goals. He's not Gerd Muller so a little contribution to the team effort should not be too much to ask. We should ask him nicely, of course...

Who needs goals eh. Bringcloughyback, bringemallback:)

well I heard an interview with Adkins today following the game last night (may have been done from the game at the weekend I am not sure) where he said the (I think it was Che or Calvern-Lewis) that he showed some nice play but still has a lot to learn.... had a certain other Nigel had said this some fans would have argued that this was a critisism and (as was when clough indicated that Mcnulty needed to run the channels more) strangley there is no mass outrage.....

Give it time. Everyone's in friendly mode. It's at Bramall Lane where we'll hang the positive bastard. Muhahaha.

I think that was more down to the fact that it was after more or less every game McNulty was singled out for criticism. I remember on some occasions he was on the pitch for only about 15 minutes and he'd still get criticised more than everyone else.
I didn't see anything wrong with him highlighting aspects of his game that needed to be improved but it was the fact that it happened every week, even when others were more deserving of it. That's what I think upset most fans too. So far Adkins hasn't done that.

I dont agree with that as i remember several occassions where he praised mcnulty. he also highlighted the failings of others (on more than one occassion)

Clough was a prick with McNulty, always having a pop at him. Still can't believe he had a pop at him after the Swindon game. Let's have a go at the McNulty after the team scored 5 away from home, he was definitely the reason we didn't win!

Maybe he did it to avoid talking about the defence he assembled, in what can only be described as one of the worst cases of gross negligence ever committed in the workplace.

Clough out.

Personally i think we have three players capable of popping 20 each in next season Mcnulty, Adams and Done along with Murphy, Diego, Higdon etc i dont think we've got a bad attacking line up

I would be unconcerned should we not sign any players, OTHER than two centre backs built like brick out houses, who could dominate the opposition, and a goal keeper ditto

PS I Have no idea who this ditto plays for.
