Mick Cardwell's family (6 brothers in total) lived a few doors away from my grandmothers in Stonelow Road. Have known Mick since I was little, he told me 20 years ago that he used to go to Blades matches in the 1970s (dont remember seeing him at matches) but I didnt really expect him to be one of the most feared Blades fans until I read Ronnie's book. Like his older brother Jeff (MacDuff), he stopped going to matches when he got married (Jeff got married on the day we beat Watford 3-0 in 1971 and I think Mick got married in 1978)Sharpy and Mick Cardwell country

Are you thinking of Scamps, which used to next to the Hofbrauhaus on the corner of Eyre street and Matilda Street. I finished up in there on my Stag night in 1975 via Stonehouse, Buccaneer and Wapentake.A couple of other clubs from back then. 'Isabella's' on the corner of Matilda Street/Eyre Street (now a chicken takeaway). Right at the back of my mind is 'Tramp's' but I can't remember where it was. (I typed Tramps night club sheffield into Google images and a few pictures of Ched came up. Honest!) Also, what was that club on Moncrieffe Road, Nether Edge?
