How you know?
Problem is does anyone know that value?£1.5m plus Billy would be a fair offer. Football clubs make me laugh. They think he's worth a certain amount, we think he's worth double. Surely that should be discussions over then? If they rate him that much they can pay his market value.
Problem is does anyone know that value?
That's entirely my point. If something is based upon perspective then to me that's not reliable enough to say he's got a definitive value. It's whatever the club says it is until they sell him. We don't know for certain what United are asking for if anything. If it's £1.5m plus Sharp then United probably value him at around £2.5m by my estimation.
The other way of looking at this is from Leeds' point of view (like we care). If you were a Leeds supporter and saw your proven goal scoring centre forward and a wedge of cash exchanged for a winger unproven above League One level, how would you react?
The value of either player is a matter of perspective.
£2M or £2.5M + Sharp
Why would we want Billy back when we already have Done and McNulty of a similar type who are younger and score more goals nowadays than Billy?
i keep thinking this but billy does seem to always succeed under AdkinsWhy would we want Billy back when we already have Done and McNulty of a similar type who are younger and score more goals nowadays than Billy?
I'll take a guess at Billy being a completely different type of player to Done and being better than McNulty.
He will certainly be faster than last season as he will not be carrying his manager on his back![]()
You are entitled to your opinion but I think that McNutts could flourish under our new manager. He will certainly be faster than last season as he will not be carrying his manager on his back![]()
Sharp spends 50% of his time on his arse and he is offside the rest of the time !
Fiery ,you going to see Barry Fry tomorrow night ?Sharp spends 50% of his time on his arse and he is offside the rest of the time !
