Been mostly downhill since then really...
We beat Southend at home 2-0!
Derek Richardson's debut for connoisseurs of ineptitude.
actually my first derby was another win at the former Leppings Meadows pig farm, a year or 2 before when Derek Pace scored from our goal mouth ( might be embellishing it a bit ) WE NEVER SUNG WE WON 7-3 THEN EITHER won 2-1September 1964. Birchenall's 2nd game. First one was after a Mick Jones effort hit the bar and he slotted in the rebound. His second was a header heading in a Barry Hartle corner. We wore all white kit that day
Doc Pace's two goals in the 2-1 win at the sty was in February 1962actually my first derby was another win at the former Leppings Meadows pig farm, a year or 2 before when Derek Pace scored from our goal mouth ( might be embellishing it a bit ) WE NEVER SUNG WE WON 7-3 THEN EITHER won 2-1

Mine was "TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 1-2 SHEFFIELD UNITED" On the 15th September 1973.
2 days after I was born we beat Charlton away 2-0 on 13th February 1971 - Woodward and Dearden the scorers. Obviously, a couple of months later we sealed promotion back to the old 1st Division.... happier times.
The sequence of the scores were wrong. We were losing 1-0, then, 1-1 and losing 2-1 etcWe beat West Ham 3-2 when I was two days old

April or August? Same score and same venueTwo days after I arrived we drew 1-1 with QPR at home in 1974.
A cursory glance at Google couldn't find the scorer or programme - but at least I was briefly around when we were challenging in the big league.
August.April or August? Same score and same venue
First game of the 1974-75 season. A very hot day. Steve Cammack gave us the lead at the Lane End in the 1st half. Gerry Francis equalised late in the gameAugust.
