One of our young players recently showed a bit of maturity in his use of social media, unlike the idiot trying to induce him, and our players in general, to make insulting comments about their ex-manager.

I do hope the idiot in question is not a member of our forum. I doubt it. I can't believe any of our members would embarrass themselves (and, by association, the forum) in such a crass and infantile manner.

We got what we wanted with Clough leaving, a new manager in place, why some people have to act like they are in the playground is beyond me, this is another chapter for the blades not the time to berat the previous manager, the players and staff need to stand behind Adkins.

I have already condemned the tweets as silly. They don't bother me as much as they appear to bother you though. I only commented on this thread to point out the tweets had nothing to do with me.

Perhaps our players would be best served by not using social media (other than amongst friends). They leave themselves wide open to criticism and personal attacks just like they get on the forums.

Although Nigel Adkins is a twitter user it appears this is to educate himself as to what it is all about,having only joined twitter in the last 6 months.
