...according to Eddie Hearn.

Means if we request to be away that date; which we can do for certain dates (eg Donny with St Leger races etc) then by taking it back to opening day we would probably be at home to open season (8th a home, 15th away, 22nd home). Of course football league could tell us to b****x.

Be interesting to see a decent fight a the Lane. Not seen much from those in red and white.

Can recall Herol Bomber Graham fighting at the Lane back in mid 80's I think.

Be a nice money spinner in terms of money etc - sure if he fight Khan would be at Wembley though.

Any profits off any fight wouldn't make a difference to Sheffield United, as Sheffield United FC don't own Bramall Lane.

A money spinner in terms of money then. :D
Only joking.

One of eith staton or giddings tweeted anout it the other day and one of the names in the hat is pacman. Should be tasty!

Manny Pacquiao or Brendan Rios were the two the RS journo mentioned. Although Hearn mentioned a couple of others tonight. I'd love to see Kell win a big fight at the Lane.

How would the new million pound pitch cope?

Note no fight has been announced and the club hasn't agreed yet. But hopefully it will come off. Presumably there is a solution to such situations - you just need to cover the pitch with matting or summat. Other stadiums with Desso pitches hold events.

Pitch will pay for itself with just one fight. Let's make it a yearly event with ingles gym fighters on all the cards

should be fighting rios on 29/8 at bramall lane. Matchroom have been talking a while now about this, Hopefully there will be a much better undercard than the one at the arena in march, that was shite. The pitch should be fine as it gets boarded over, hopefully it will be start of plenty more fights at the lane

Blades will be away then, bank holiday weekend in Southend then hopefully!!!

I think one of the points of the plastic grass is quick recovery so it means you can do stuff like this.
