Clough has upgraded, but it will take a few weeks to really gel and settle in.

I wouldn't be too previous. In the same way last Saturday wasn't the end of the world tonight is just one game. We should treat victory and defeat with similar measure and not get carried away by either.

Great result though :)

^^^that would be dull. Sounds like the Pigs more than the Blades!;)

I thought we were pretty poor in many ways tonight, but the finishing was excellent. Colchester had loads of corners but never got a goal when it mattered. Turner made a great save to keep Porter out and that set the pattern really.

As for Done, how refreshing to see hard running and movement. I think Rochdale had a plan to 'elpiton first time to him, because half of his runs were premature. Super goal though. As was Colchester's.

It was only a very poor Colchester side let's not get carried away eh. Full credit to clough and the lads tonight they did what we expect against these sort of teams. Let's hope it's start of a run, 15 off 2nd with 2 in hand.

As others have said let's not get carried away but we do need a consistent 11, and I wouldn't mind it being that, with Flynn for JCR maybe. Consistent selection will really help us I think, the basis of that should be tonights team (Howard in though) with JCR, Reed, McNulty, Tel, Scougall, Adams and others coming in when needs be or when slight changes are made to rest some.

All season we've changed selections fairly often and it's not paid off, in last seasons run the side picked itself.

One of the big things to note for me tonight was Baxter being allowed to play his best position behind a forward who made runs, and he was class. I suspect he or another will play deeper against Bristol, but otherwise I'd be gutted if he was shifted.

Great morale boosting win tonight and hopefully given a few of the lads a bit of confidence. Like others have said, not the best of games and easy to see why Colchester are where they in the league. One thing I was particularly glad to see tonight was some clinical finishing, I pray that this will continue.

Just hope Cloughie can keep a settled side for Saturday as whilst Bristol will give us a much tougher game, we desperately need some consistency.

Up the Blades!
