posted a hissy fit on here a few days ago and said Che Adams hadn't looked up to the job yet. :(

How wrong I was, sorry Che, I was feeling a bit frustrated you'll be a legend at BDTBL

I don't think he's got the all-round game yet to be a starter but he's definitely got the talent.

Took both goals well, despite the deflection. Looked relaxed and not phased by the occasion, smiling as he came on and one for the future

Listening to his post match interview he sounds like a cocky stroke confident kinda fella which is good imo he's one that i see, doesn't seem fazed by the step up he has taken nor the opposition he faces.

Keeps doing what he's doing and he'll have a decent career (hopefully with us)

Don't think anybody had seen enough of him to really make a judgement, and we still haven't, but if you're not up for that game after playing at ilkeston then you're not a footballer..

By the same token, he was up for it, made his time on the pitch count to the max, one for the future along with reed, an outstanding performance, more please!

Lets just hope he's for our future and not hull, blackburn, spurs, wolves "etc"

Robbie , the kid , like all our young players have got talent and will be given the chance.

Now is the time , we all have to get off the players backs , and support them all , for the league run in.

I even include myself in that statement.

The substitutions made a huge difference. Higsy hardly touched the ball but he didn't have to. The very fact that he was there gave the Spurs defence a problem they had never had in the previous 70 minutes. Adams is only 18 and he was as cool as a cucumber.

Flynn and Murphy were sensational, I thought. My lad is a Chesterfield supporter but he said to me after the second goal "I wanted the Blades to win from the start but I'm desperate for them to do it now"!

I think that the way he took his first goal was a statement in itself....it was as good as Eriksons second goal..he was cool under pressure, bodies lying on the ground in front of him and slid it beautifully into the far corner .....classy goal, with composure......

He introduced his tallent to the world lat night and said Ju Suis Che Adams

As Nige said in his post match interview, he might need to learn not to celebrate by sliding like that when you're not in front yet!

I do like what Mr Clough says . Always a hint of dry humour , sarcasm , and most of all reality . Honest bloke . I don't think he would change his ways even in the Premiership .
