Would you not agree that a lad willing to go to league 2 and stay there, has a good attitude and just wants to play football to enhance his career?

I don't know whether he's the model pro as you so put it as i don't train him day in day out but i do know he's a good player.

Let me ask you this,Is John Terry who shagged Wayne Bridges' misses a model pro? Is Gazza who smacked women a model pro? Is Suarez the racist a model pro? Most if not all footballers get picked on ability, not whether they wear their cap or not.

You seem to think you know a lot about me by the way.Stop stalking,it doesn't suit you.

John terry shagged Wayne Bridges Ex-missus

It was under 9 months ago that a host of Serie A teams including Juventus and Arsenal were tracking him.
This was widely reported at the time In both the Italian and British press.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...nal-track-Sheffield-Uniteds-star-striker.html

As for proof of the rift between Clough and Diego, there was the the Johnstone's paint trophy vs Walsall which Sky televised,. Due to the low crowd attendance alllied to a badly synched pitch side microphone you could hear every comment NC made.
This was a rare example of being a 'fly on the wall' at the inner sanctum of someones place of work.
It didn't make for, how can I put it, ''inspiring listening.''
For me that came as a big shock since I'd been a big NC fan until then. The mic was corrected for the second half I recall.

As for ''clash of personalities'' the purpose of using the double inverted commas was to emphasis irony; a la Butler, and a few more.

I'm not doubting NC's capacity to use 'industrial language'. Hardly unusual in football, and anyone who's witnessed Warnock when he was manager will know this is commonplace. But context is everything, not selective segments that reveal very little. So what is at the root of this rift you describe?

I cant help thinking that NC duplicitous statements allied to his man management style that he really doesn't want this lad to stay at all. His constant hounding off him at his last league game reminded me more of a parent shouting at a Sunday league U11 match
An utter disgrace if we let this talented lad go, Another promising youngster ruined?
.

Why oh why do people make up scenarios and conspiracy theories over nothing
If Clough is bollocking Diego its because its his job , to kick his ass and get him to the level some think he can attain
As of yet he is miles away from being the finished article , raw talent in spades, but that alone is diddly squat without application of fitting in to a team, not stifling his talent but harnessing it in a structured way , its called getting coached , hes been sent off to York for game practise and to hone his place in a structured framework , when hes ready he will get the chance, unless your messi or maradona you cant go it alone and hes no where near that.
Running past other under 21s is easy , getting past seasoned pros who can take out a cartlidge at speed needs coaching how to ride them, he needs guidance.
If Clough is shouting at him , great , hes earning his money.

I did mean Italy in general bob.My point was he must be doing something right to be picked by the Italian youth set up,as i'm pretty sure they'd have enough players to pick from over there.

This is something that I always think, there must be something if he is getting picked above local (as in Italian) lads. I don't want to get into an argument about him, I just like what I have seen, and in the last SUFC v SWFC youth match, he was joint man of the match for me, along with the SWFC goal keeper, who was outstanding. Yes Dimao scored our goal, and played well, but it was Diego who was the constant threat, shooting from all angles.

I could make up another scenario where someone didn't even watch the incidents in question yet feels knowledgeable enough to comment about it.

He has had a serious injury, has He not, Might be nursing Him back.
