Appreciate that mate, but that just shows how low we've become as some of the sides we've beaten are really no bigger than us in footballing terms.

Unfortunately, we are where we are, meaning that we are giant killers at the moment. Certainly paying a lot of players on league 1 wages.
In reality, through a comedy of errors (not too funny) we might, more correctly, be considered sleeping giants. Hopefully with the recent additions, the awakening has just begun.
With Nigel, he builds a proper team on a proper foundation. It takes longer than some are prepared to wait, but it will be worth it in the end.
Derby are still reaping the rewards of a backbone built by Clough. We will too.
BBC? Don't start me on the BBC. Travelling to work on Thursday morning and listening to Chris Warburton (who he?) on 5... "Manager Nigel Clough says Sheffield United still in the tie, according to Nigel Clough anyway".... introduces Ian Dennis with "what did you make of it? Spurs just that bit too good". To be fair though, Dennis utterly contradicted him and gave a reasoned opinion of the match. Deep breath and back to Talk Sport. Until they annoy me again.
Most callers on there are plastics ,never been in the stadium of the team hey support on skyTalksport, the Bladesmad of broadcasting.
Tuned in Thursday and some muppet who was on with Gough stated that Spurs struggled against us because the seats are too small and as everyone was wrapped up against the cold they were packed in too tightly to move and couldn't therefore make much noise.
He did say the Blades however managed to overcome this and added to the atmosphere by bringing some good old aggro to the party outside afterwards.
Where do they get these pricks from? Why do Talksport need to be such agent provocateur to try and get callers?
And of course you're absolutely right. We can drill down and analyse that we should be a big club, we should be in the top leagues, we should be where West Ham are etc. There's no lighter than me mate,i'm merely stating what i believe to be fact and that with the resources at hand,we should be in the same league as most of the teams we've beaten,so in actual fact shouldn't be seen as underdogs and giant killers to these sides.
What is sad is the fact we're still in league one,i don't need a reality check,i know where we are but i won't continue to accept it.The other week we beat QPR and most of the media didn't really see it as an upset, which says a lot really. This is how low some of our fans think now, they've got used to being in league one and are happy with mediocrity beating teams from a higher league, sorry that's not me.My god I think its sad reading some of these comments.
We hold a record of beating the most higher leauge teams in a full calender year, why can't we just be happy with that fact.
Why do our fans have to find faults with it, its nothing to be ashamed about and if you are you need a reality check.
Teams get relegated to lower leagues, yeah its not nice but whining about everything will not help us get out of this leauge.
The "fact" is we hold a new record, the media might be overselling it with all the "giant killing" but its still a record we now own and I'm proud of that achievement. What is sad is the fact we're still in league one,i don't need a reality check,i know where we are but i won't continue to accept it.The other week we beat QPR and most of the media didn't really see it as an upset, which says a lot really. This is how low some of our fans think now, they've got used to being in league one and are happy with mediocrity beating teams from a higher league, sorry that's not me.
The Southern League at the time was much stronger than any of the non league divisions we know of nowadays! Arsenal was the only southern team in the 1900-01 Football League and that was in the second divisionI would like to nominate Tottenham Hotspur as the greatest giant killers of all time. Only non league side to have ever won the FA Cup, in 1901.

I'm not finding faults either,as i say further up i'm merely stating imo what i believe to be fact that's all,i'm not ashamed,i'll never be ashamed of our club, and i certainly don't need a reality check,it's just my honest opinion.
Good read, thanks
Does that really matter? Just enjoy it while we can.I fully agree with you wizadry..
calling us giant killers is ridiculous, had we beaten Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal et al then yes, but the teams we've beat are no bigger than us other than they're going through an up curve in their history and are currently in the premier league. With the exception of Villa we are just as "big" as QPR, Fulham, on a par with Southampton over the past 20+ years, not that smaller than West Ham. And then as for Charlton and Forest, then we are prettty much the same as them, but we have bigger crowds!
Its like calling Blackburn giant killers for beating Swansea today.
Does that really matter? Just enjoy it while we can.
