Out of all the players being mentioned this is the one i want,he'd be different gravy in this league and we've needed someone like him for a long time.

Not being so far behind in the league, it doesn't matter who we sign, autos is not going to happen this year. Should be all set for promotion next year though.

I do think the obsession with the player is slightly over the top however I do believe that if we sign the player, that they should make the day he signs the public bank holiday of "St John's Day"

It could happen in the unlikely event of Simonsens penalty shot dropping out of orbit and bouncing into the empty Wembley goal, word is though that it is just doing a few circuits of Jupiter.

Autos are unlikely but if we were 9 points behind Swindon with our fit squad (I.e. The short sighted attacks on Clough's rotation policy) with an influx of a striker and a more attacking fullback would you still think autos are unlikely? We will play Swindon at home likely with Brayford in the team who are getting better. If we beat them and win our 2 games in hand we will be 9 points behind them. Also with there being 4 teams in contention they all have to play each other, therefore points have to be lost. Finally have the four contenders got the depth in squad we have to cope with fatigue or are they using the same players week in week out. There are a lot of variables yet and Auto is not gone yet, despite being unlikely. I was shouted down last season for saying there was no chance of the playoffs despite our ten game winning run. But I believe there are enough games left to catch three of the top four. Just unlikely.

I agree about the playoffs, we have a bunch of players that relish the big games; it will be the first time I've felt confident about the playoffs, if we qualify...

I reckon we have a chance in the play offs, assuming Swindon and bristol get autos. There's no way Preston are better than us and I don't believe MK franchise are either. How we have been playing in big matches on big occasions gives me confidence. I know we don't really do play offs but we hardly scored at wembley and we banged 3 in past a premier league side.
