Why is it that every time we have a great result like today, we've played "a very poor Premier League team, it has to be said"? The opposition fans come out with it, their manager usually does, and even the majority of us do truth be told.
Bottom line is that a poor Premier League team will generally have enough to beat an average 3rd division team. They have internationals playing for them, they have strength in depth and they have Premier League management teams.
Could it be that the Premier League is over hyped, these Fancy Dan players aren't that shit hot when they have to fight? Or maybe, and best of all ,we could be better than we think we are?
Our league results suggest that we're average, our Cup results tell a different story so will the real Sheffield United please stand up. If we play with pace and passion we can still piss this league.
