Couldn't agree more Highbury....just changes your whole outlook for the week when they play like this.

It's a mystery what you're doing down there. I can only assume there's not that much difference between the leagues. You seem to have been playing to at least Championship standard for a while and I don't think there's that much to choose between the bottom 7 of the Premier league and the top half of the Championship. Harry McGuire seems to be comfortable up against Arsenal. Quinn has, as I expected, forced his way into City's team. I'm not surprised it's the hard working blokes from the lower leagues that have brought home th biccies for City rather than the mega bucks "stars" who are allergic to muck and nettles. You can't be far off ... maybe it's these cup runs you keep going on that are distracting you!! Good luck!

We seem to prioritise the cups
play our strongest team and actually try to win

Well, you may as well. I reckon when you get to the Premier League you'll be fielding weakened teams for the cups unless you're in no danger of being relegated. sadly, it's all about money. It's the Premier League that butters Hull City's loaf which is why City made 10 changes today, even against Arsenal (who are far from full strength themselves). Having siad that, it takes nothing away from "giant killers" since, with the transfer window approaching, "reserve" teams are no pushovers full of players staking a claim for a new contract, place in the first team or a move away. Paul McShane is likely away from Hull City in the next month but is putting in a great shift
