Nigel can do the cup games, and even at a pinch away games, but if we are serious about promotion - hello Princey - then ffs can we get someone in who will send out a side that is positive, aggressive and determined to own their own pitch . I've filled up my senses and they are screaming at me to recognise the absolute futility of hoping this club will ever punch its fucking weight.

Clough will get a minimum this season and next, waste of a thread really, we just have to hope he either loses his stubborn steak or we get really lucky

NC has a different way of working - if you want NC out then you have a long wait.

We are still in all four completion's we entered from memory.............

Some of you are kidding yourselves on
dye was set when we let maguire now and brought a load of frees and undiscloseds in

Judge this is why I didn't renew this season, (I'm still f-ing paying tho like a tit) we have gone backwards instead of building on the success even be it small of last season.

Put a striker upfront from the start today and we would have won.

Although I still think the defense need looking at, we can't be giving our opponents free headers from set pieces still.

Sacking Clough won't do much and I think Clough surely must have seen today that these things need to be sorted

Clough seems far too stubborn. We're desperate for a striker and because he's already said he's happy with what we've got, and the fans are twllinh him otherwise, he isn't going to admit he's wrong and bring someone in. We were non-existent in the final third today. It was pathetic.

It appears that a bit of muscle combined with defensive know how is required. Not a job for midgets and the faint hearted. Losing out on crucial set pieces is costing us.

New fans required to replace the knee jerks that start pointless threads when we dont win

Barcelona lost 0-1 at home last night to Cerlta Vigo , even they lose games , weird innit[/QUOTE

It's not so much the losing of games, it happens. Even under David Weir I don't think I've felt as despondent.

That a serious post? Jesus wept. Let's turn into Leeds shall we. Clough is the first manager we've had for years that actually appears to have the right way of thinking. We've had 6 permanent since the season we got relegated (2010/11), now you want to make that 7??

Sacking Blackwell is what caused this decline. Yes his tactics were shit to watch but he wouldn't have got us relegated.

I can't stand this new thing that chairmen seem to think a change in manager will automatically make things right.

Oh, does this mean we are going to track their results from now on this season? No? So in what way is this of any relevance?

Jesus wept.

Higdon would've started yesterday surely if he wasn't injured. Also we almost signed Davies from Blackpool last week. NC is very much aware that we need a striker but have missed out on them. Mason Bennett for example.

NC is stubborn in that, he won't just go out and sign anybody for the sake of it like Wilson did with Forte or like Liverpool did with Carroll. He's waiting until the right man is available. Until then, we're stuck with attacking midfielders upfront.

"If" we had won yesterday we would've been 3rd. And that's without even having a striker.

Yes who would want to say anything negative after yet another disappointing home performance. Madness.

Teams lose games .even the best barcas lost 2 in a row..its relevant as we seem to need an inquest on every defeat

Barcelona losing any game has absolutely no relevance to us at all (same with Chelsea, Arse, both Manchester clubs etc. that you seem to insist bringing up all the time).

We'd be a sorry team indeed if losing to shite like Barnsley didn't invoke a response or an inquest.

I didn't go and, as such, I haven't commented, but this idea that we can't be disappointed to lose a home game is just ridiculous.

WRONG.
Shield tweeted on Saturday that Higdon would NOT have started.
But inferred that Clough was not man enough to admit it!
Clough was using Higdon as his human Shield and Mcnulties supposed failings for his gross, stupid failure.
Presumably on the basis 'you can fool some of the people all of the time'!
As for waiting for the right man !
FFS that's a joke.
Billy Paynter.
Double chins!
FFS its always a mate from Derby that he thinks is the 'right' man.

What does Shield know ? I think it is quite apparent his finger isn't exactly on the 'pulse' on happenings at the Lane. Probably gets his info from forums.

As for your last line, don't quite follow. Which 'mate from Derby' is this ?
