I think if Preston go down, the EFL should retire the 12th position in the table, which Preston have seemingly owned for the last 50years. In future the team directly below 11th finishes 13th, with the bottom team in 25th place. 11th and 13th will of course be retired should Millwall or Bristol City leave the Championship via either exit door.

Think we should let them win this. We don't want them robbing the Wendy of one of their greatest achievements 😂
They may well do, they gave us a two goal head start last season and still managed to walk away with 3pts.
Iirc they also beat us in both matches last season.

Nothing good happens to a club when Risdale is involved with them, he is a cancer that needs to be cut out before they will get any better. There, said it expect a Preston win tomorrow night. We really should be steamrollering these into the dirt.

So it does seem to work for pigs say it enough times and people believe it....

The comment about them playing kids all season (which is false) but they saod it week after week so everyone else has bought into it.

Same goes with 30k+ fans week in week out and being massive and sleeping giant.. they some how convinced people by saying same stuff over and over again. (Again false looking at sty yesterday).

Let’s get out the traps quickly and get all over them - don’t let them grow into the game at all.

Need a Wrexham style start with Donovan terrorising them
Exactly this. We need to be out fast high press and intensity. Try get early goal and knock stuffing and confidence even further out of them and the crowd.

The longer it goes on at 0-0 the more they will grow into it and have confidence to nick a 1-0 (depending on which sheff utd team turns up).

I watched most of their match against Stoke, and to be honest they played quite well at first. But as soon as Stoke scored you could see the heads drop.

As others have said, it's vital we capitalise on their lack of confidence and get into them early.

More generally, it's a shame to see them struggle. Having worked in Preston many many years ago, I found the place itself to be grim but the people were nice enough. And as a club, they are one of the few who have never done anything to offend me. They seem a bit like us. A club that was a shining light in the earlier years of the game, but which has never kicked on to fulfil its potential.

Give me Preston, West Brom, Millwall over Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea any day
