You’re surely sensing that the fans are unhappy with performance and team selection , gates are falling - how are you going to turn this round ? Has it now reached the point of no return ?Thanks to FH Team for pushing Chris Wilder on Romelle Donovan in the Derby presser.
Now your questions for the Wrexham game.
I'm assuming the presser will be on Wednesday.
As per last time, I imagine the most popular question will be the one with the best chance of being used.
Fire away!
Oh Silent - If it wasn't for this thread then the only questions asked of Wilder would be along the lines of - do you like the away kit?I dont see the point of doing this?
It is never a good idea to make Wilder reveal too many things. Dont want too many know it alls to interfere with team selections and tactics.Oh Silent - If it wasn't for this thread then the only questions asked of Wilder would be along the lines of - do you like the away kit?
Surely you can see this ?
..but we still don’t know if he likes the away kit !It is never a good idea to make Wilder reveal too many things. Dont want too many know it alls to interfere with team selections and tactics.
Given we've got about 23k season ticket holders, I'd say overHow many fans do you think will be in the stadium by the end of the season if you manage to avoid being sacked by May?
Under or over 15,000?
Given we've got about 23k season ticket holders, I'd say over
I think we'll match them up with Seriki and Burrows as wing backs.Considering Wrexham play a system that has almost a 6 man midfield (with three big centre halves and Moore up front) will we consider changing system to prevent our two man midfield getting overrun? (There's also a huge case for starting Donovan and only playing one up top against their system but I'll leave that open goal for someone else.)
what tactics silent ?It is never a good idea to make Wilder reveal too many things. Dont want too many know it alls to interfere with team selections and tactics.
To be fair. Regardless of what is asked, he's only going to say what he wants to say.It is never a good idea to make Wilder reveal too many things. Dont want too many know it alls to interfere with team selections and tactics.
Injured. Can we ask what's happened to Jevan Beattie, he's vanished, has he been abducted by aliens?
Feels like he's been injured for agesInjured.
brilliant post and spot on the moneyThe published attendance is a fig leaf masking a malaise that has been gnawing away at the club for five years. Last season Betis stated that on average circa one third of season ticket holders don't attend each game.
So perhaps 15k yesterday, plus the Derby fans and a handful of single match purchasers, charitably a 19-20k attendance. Which is what it looked like to me, watching 20 minutes of it on my mobile in Ireland. A few years ago I'd miss one or two games a season at most, now I don't even look at the fixture list before booking a holiday.
What hurts isn't that crowds are lower but that a lot of those who do attend are totally fucking disengaged, me included . Goals used to be celebrated wildly even in relatively unimportant games. Now its a brief cheer and a round of applause, standing up optional
Even in the dark days of crowds of 10k and lower, those who were there were totally invested.
I don't know who is to blame. Wilder has certainly played his part.
Sorry for the moan but I hate what this club has become.
Too many kids. Yeah its changed to a 'family' attraction now, but kids dont , and will never, create any atmosphere. The published attendance is a fig leaf masking a malaise that has been gnawing away at the club for five years. I have one. Why doesnt Staton just admit hes a pig? Mans an utter liar. Thanks to FH Team for pushing Chris Wilder on Romelle Donovan in the Derby presser.

Kids, women and old age pensioners seem to make up the majority of the crowd these days, or at least that's what it looks like when the cameras pan round the Blades sections. Same with the away followings. Not knocking them, good on em, but might go a long way to explaining why the Lane has lost the noisy, imtimidating atmosphere it was once famous for. Football in a library indeed.Too many kids. Yeah its changed to a 'family' attraction now, but kids dont , and will never, create any atmosphere.
Cameras panning around? you obviously dont go to games then. The away support is totally different to home games. It aint kids and its far bettter. You want getrification , well bare the consequences.Kids, women and old age pensioners seem to make up the majority of the crowd these days, or at least that's what it looks like when the cameras pan round the Blades sections. I don't. I'm a shit Blade me, I am. You're a much bigger Blade than I am, and I'm not just talking about the midriff area. What's 'getrification'? Do you mean gentrification? If you do, who said they wanted that??? You seem..... angry?Cameras panning around? you obviously dont go to games then. The away support is totally different to home games.
