We never got to grips with McQueen their young left winger. That led to Hamzas bookings. Second one was harsh agreed. Yet instead of addressing the problem with the half time subs we change to 3 at the back. If Bamford was injured then surely Mcguinness on to replace with Tanganga going to right back. Why take off another forward in BBD. Putting Chong at RWB led to their second goal as McQueen continually drifted past him.

Players showed some fight and we scored from two corners. Yet we always looked porous at the back with the change. Third goal was embarrassing defensively as Adams had far too much space.

The tactical change unsettled the defence. We should have stayed with a four for the first 20 minutes of the second half imo. Its these tactical errors that mean the difference between mid table safety and bottom end struggles. Pompey were poor and even with 10 men in the right formation we should have taken 3 points.

No matter how much effort you put into the game if you ship poor goals you dont climb the table.

But he was clearly allowed to use a decent budget - but we went for Rideweld and Phillips. Opted for a poor BBD. Went for Doherty and then Choudhary, a centre mid to play right back. Ayew signed instead of keeping Marsh.

Yes players were ripped out but his strategy to rebuild has been awful.
"Strategy"🤣
My that's generous.🙏

how can the blame be on wilder when hes lost his 3 most creative players and had no money to sign anyone
Nonsense. He’s had funds albeit not much, but he’s used it to sign unfit, injury prone players. Hamza got released by Leicester, do you think he’s come to us for the year on less?

who you going to get to get a tune out of us then who you wanna waste money on
Ok. Seeing as you've asked:

Ralph Hasenhüttl if the board have the finances. We should've brought him in instead of Sellés.

The chap who has beaten us tonight - Mousinho - should be a consideration.

Wildcard appointment would be someone like Habib Beye who did very well in France.

Yes, it's fair enough using a random example from 40 years ago that proves absolutely nothing. Consider me told!
Hardly random. Same mindset. Same club. We went down. This lot are hardly reliable and leadership and coaching is lacking.
The recipe for slipping into trouble.

marsh isnt good enough yet we seen that in the minutes at blackburn jus because hes scored a few in league 2 he needs that season

Easy, his (boards) recruitment and they need to polish this turd. I dont think anyone else can come in now and work with this currents squad, and dont dismiss the injured. It needs to be stabalized with what we've currently got unfortunately.
With respect, I disagree. We've signed a promising pacey young player Donovan, we've got another young player called One. Why is Wilder determined to refuse to use them? The way he is going, our young players will leave in January and we'll be left with the older ones. But nevermind, we might be able to re-sign Philips on loan again next season, and we've got Rothwell and Shackleton.

hamza is a good player he wasnt suppose to be playing every game was we suppose to for see seriki injury ?

Great post. Wilder is poor managing younger players. I doubt Ndiaye would have been given a chance to shine under Wilder.

That Adams should been sent off for dangerous play before he then scored.
Clutching at straws. Wilder cost us the game.

Disagree. There was no way they should have been given a foul in the box at the end either. Stooping your head to knee heigh gets a free kick. Wtaf.
That Ref is anti blades. Always has been.

bollox if wilders goes this team gets relegated
Agree. But he should go end of the season regardless if we stay up that I very much doubt. Derby Watford will be getting rid shortly and probably see better fortunes? Bit wilder has brought in to many journey men that the legs have gone. Oh and and a 10 million pound player that is clearly carrying that much weight in cash
