Is Wilder thick?

He's inherited a terrible situation, aka the asset stripping from the owners. We've sold our three most talented players in Hamer, Brooks and COH. Signed nobody for a fee.

But he doesn't help himself whatsoever... Doherty, Rothwell, Choudhury, Ayew, all his signings and are a total waste of a wage. I'd be up for this season if we knew we'd be sat in mid-table, but we had a vision for this season and beyond, bringing through academy players or signing young hungry lower league players. What we've done is sign old rubbish who are lacking in athleticism, desire, hunger, you name it and we'll be back to square one this time next season, perhaps even in League One. I've never been less optimistic or excited about a season ever and it's only September.

Yes. At the end of the match last night there was real animosity in the crowd and it wouldn't have taken much to provoke fisticuffs
I reckon a defeat against Stoke is nailed on.
The atmosphere then against Lincoln could easily become toxic, another defeat and it will kick off

To not start Baptiste yesterday was another poor decision, he looked promising early season but his minutes have since been blocked

It doesn't bear thinking about. Just have to hope the more hot-headed fans realise we're all trying to support the same team.

A loss on Saturday and it will almost certainly kick off. Lincoln is probably the worst possible match we could hope for too as a next home game. Everybody will expect a win but they're incredibly well organised and we can't create

If they play like they did at Boro they are going to soak up everything we throw at them (well, you know what I mean) and kill us on the counter.

How many more bad pre seasons and really awful transfer windows can we sustain?

None. The only player left who has any sort of potential significant increase in value is One and even when he's back from injury he's unlikely to get the minutes he needs given the money wanked away on ancient, "proven" players. There's only two paths right now, either the owners inject substantial capital, or we go with a complete reset which will likely involve going backwards before we can go forwards. That said, the first seems unlikely, and the second doesn't have the staff to do it (or, for that matter, to recognise it needs to be done)

Selling to pay the bills isn’t asset stripping. I know it sounds good for the believers but it’s nonsense. There may well be underfunding but there is also the wages to be paid for these ex PL players. Lots of wages if you believe an earlier post. As you yourself say.

It will be like the 1 nil loss to Rotherham the other year in my opinion.

They’ll just sit back and nick a goal, we’ll have no idea how to break them down.

But, 'it'll be better next season'
'Trust me, I'm the f'g man' (thumps badge).

He's willingly ruined his own legacy because he just can't let go.

Negative, scared football and now played by his has beens and bottlers

In his very own image

Any other club are preparing to bomb him out.

The only question is, who will he blame for this one?
Ched of course as Wilder says “he’s very clever”

We haven't asset stripped we have sold which we knew last season that we would have to do. There is a big money hole to fill that the sales have more or less plugged it. We have managed to maintain a top 8 budget meaning paying fairly decent wages . What he has done is bring in all these signings all on decent money. So he hasn't used the money well...................again

How many have said there's no better man when there's little or no money to spend?

The ultimate test for him then but it isnt going well so far

I think what many have said is there's no worse man when there's money to spend.

That doesn't mean the reverse is true.

First time i've planned on coming back home and not looked to work in united games.
Back next week with no matches involved.
