Agreed. This squad should be playing a lot better, not really seeing any promising tactics, patterns of play or any sort of in game management which makes you think we are heading the right way. It’s just really really poor football.

For me Wilder has always been the right man for the job, always. But like you I am also now wavering and I am unsure if he now is the right man. The league is where it’s at and I honestly believe this squad should be knocking at the play offs door, so I’m not shouting Wilder out just yet but our play has to drastically improve over the next few games, not totally given up that he can get us going but I am wavering.
I sort of agree with this (I’m also usually right behind Wilder). The only mitigation I can give to him is that there are players that were just individually utterly awful tonight. Some of them need to take a long look at themselves.
Campbell is a particular worry… he looks utterly unco-ordinated at times and is incapable of any concerted effort.
Nobody took any responsibility tonight apart from Peck and one or two others late on. Individuals are letting Wilder and the club down.
Saturday now becomes absolutely vital. The response will tell us everything.

Why on earth should we give him that long? What has he done to warrant any stay of execution? What signs have we sign that he can and will improve?
I’m not saying I’m massively confident he’ll turn it round. I just don’t like the modern habit of sacking the manager this early in the season. It’s September and we’ve played about 10 games. I’d give him a bit more time to get it right.

I think he should go now. I don''t have faith that he can improve the team in the international break. With the exception of Souttar, he's got what he wanted including both Jairo and Phillips. The only Selles players left are tanganga, mcguinness and chong (and zatterstrom). But for me, they are not the biggest problems. It's CM and creativity. We had months and months to plan for this season and it doesnt look any better than last season. I hate how chippy he is in press conferences, it's not funny or in a way that is defending the club, I don't find it professional. There are valid criticisms of his tenure yet he is dismissive of all of them.

Also Chong and Tanganga were previously targets of Wilder's.

There is very little of the AI / Selles experiment in this squad of players. They have either left or are out on loan.

The only one that hasn't gone is McGuinness and for the most part he has not done much wrong so far this season.

what's point playing 442 when your wingers wanna cut in all time cus there on wrong foot just get to the line and cross it
Been same all season, it slows everything down - whats more obvious than playing a Right footer on the right and a left footer on the left! Give your strikers a chance of getting on a cross, but no, turn back inside and give the opposition plenty of time to cover.
Wilders done this over and over, and it just leads to slow, boring football that we are being subjected to, week after week.

We need a change somewhere, because we are going down with this set up.
I know it's only thebCarabou, but it's shown up all whats wrong at our club, at the moment

For goodness sake not Hecky - just stop it. Stop it.

If we need to get rid of Wilder sooner rather than later Hecky might be a good shout until the end of the season. It would give us time to recruit a forward thinking manager going forward.
As Ive said before the owners should be looking at replacing Wilder and the recruitment team at some point in the next 6 months and should be planning for that now
I dont have any confidence that they will do that though

You forgot prem league empty stadium at 70 mins ,no one left to boo at 90mins
Today was a disgrace commitment and defo tactics, thats down to the headcoach and backroom staff lose another before international break and hes / they are toast
Heckys available
Hecky? Is this a joke? We need to look forward not back.

His obsession with that Phillips signing was ridiculous, when you have a tight budget, you don’t waste money on duplicates of what we already had but there again Wilder is the king of wasting money.

He is bigging up the international break and with injured players coming back.

So we best see something from that because what's being served up now is crap.
And then it'll be bigging up the JTW, then a full pre season and on and on

He's a bullsh*tter, living on clichés and stealing time as he can't let go.

Said it before but he needs the job far more than we need him, his Blades fan ego and mates.

If it wasn't so serious, this is fckg laughable!!😥

Out of those 10 games, how many have we looked good in?

Rothwell
Phillips
BBD
Ayew
Doherty
Bamford
Jairo
Hamza
Campbell

Wilder you really have wasted a lot of dosh on that lot.
Said this on another thread. He thinks he can polish a turd his arrogance is incredible! Picking up a wage just a set of journey men and 90% of those players will probably hang their boots up end of the season.

So would you keep Wilder ?
Do you have confidence in our owners to replace Wilder at short notice with the right Manager ?
Hecky might do a decent job as caretaker
Jones as caretaker for Stoke, use the international break to interview and recruit, we’re in fantasyland if folk think we’ll be troubling the play offs this season.

I think the silent minority are about to become the vocal majority in the next few games.

I can see Lincoln match being a powderkeg in the stands between the blind faithful and those who can look past 2019
Especially if Lincoln do to us what they’ve done to PNE & Bristol City and beat us 1-0 by being organised and having a consistent and coherent plan

I didn't realise that you couldn't change your votes on these polls. I wonder what the numbers would be now if you could?

The squad is bad in lots of ways but it’s nowhere near as bad as these performances. Nowhere near.

I’m not Wilder out but I’m wavering.
His approach this summer seems to have been to make it seem like he’s got the hardest job in the world, and therefore he’s overachieving by having us in mid table. The comment about ‘nobody has had it harder than me’ was embarrassing when we still have a top 8 budget. How many teams in this division would love to have Cooper, Tanganga, Seriki, Peck, Phillips, Donovan, Bamford?

This is his squad, he’s had a year now to get things prepared for how he wants to play, get fitness etc up to scratch and this is what we’re serving up.

100% correct & spot on 54. Wilder is a desperate sad little man living on borrowed time, clinging onto his job by the bare threads of his best mate Bettis, but the yanks are too entrenched in their own shit mess to see this)
How much longer before the fans have got the balls to do what they did to Bryan Robson?
