We played so much better than we have been. Yes I'd prefer we played rubbish and won but why all the negative stuff. We're a mid to low championship side after the transfer window and for the first time this season I could see real improvement. Sorry if this thread is only for the anti-Wilderd but really think a bit of honest reflection shouldn'the beyond anyone. Still think he’s not the way forward but I'm not going
To knock him for today.

Do you think Wilder sees us as a mid to low Championship team? I agree that we are at that level, but the signings we’ve made (older, short term deals and loans) suggests we giving it a real go this season and then next season we’ll rebuild.

We set up in matches like we’ve a relegation team, but the players we bring in suggest the opposite.

We should’ve sacrificed some short term experience to build for a promotion push next season or the season after. This season is pointless to me because we’ll be in a worse position come the end of season.

I think we're doing ok with what we have but if this is us going for it (which I don't for a second think it is) then we will be sorely disappointed. We've put together a team to try not to embarrass us whilst saving shed loads of money. Might indicate owners trying to put us in shop window whilst looking to recoup investment.

I thought the system worked well today and it was the best we have played all season. But quite a few times Hamza, once again looked a liability. BBD looks unfit and has maybe lost a yard of pace. I still think the main aim for us this season is to keep away from a relegation fight and it will be mid-table at absolute best.

So who wants to get this started again?

Tonight alone, even without everything else, would be enough for me.

You have a stellar performance playing 5-3-2 Sunday, only to revert back to a 4-4-2 that hasn't worked all season, and you reap the rewards

Who's he gonna blame this time? Because it's never on him.

I were all in agreement with him being crucial to keeping us up this season with the turmoil. But I’m not so sure based on the season so far, we’ve been largely dominated by dross, teams are having double figures for shots against us, it’s not sustainable. Tonight has been absolutely appalling. Dominated by a League Two side in Fleetwood, for those who ask “who’d do better?” I’d ask “what makes you think Wilder would/could?”

Stellar? You saw a different game to me on Sunday.

Are we now gonna start being vocal about this? Or do the cultists rule the roost? There’s enough rationale to sack him for me. But how much will it cost us with his contract?

Wilder is not the only manager that can keep us up this season. This team is capable but not with Wilder at the helm.

He probably needs more experienced players.

At least wait until we stop getting results in the league that will keep us mid table

Tonight was a disgrace, the squad is a disgrace

But the league cup is irrelevant as has been proven in basically every season Wilder's had here
Jesus… what game have we actually deserved a point from this season? What’s it going to take to realise in wilders latest tenures anything positive has come from moments of brilliance from gifted footballs and nothing to do with wilders tactical genius.

We play crap in a league cup match. It's not as if losing to lower league opponents in a cup is anything new for most if not all of the managers we've had in my lifetime.

I can't seriously believe people want Wilder out based on how we've done this season. Sacking him would be madness. The current team is very average. No Seriki, no One neither which massively doesn't help. The lack of budget, selling all of our attacking quality. Then the potential points deduction.

It's the equivalent of making a cake with dog poo and expecting it to taste like a beautiful wedding cake and then blaming the chef.

So wish Wilder out of you want. Because I promise you we'll be relegated if we do. This season is a stay up season, maybe mid table at best.

So what has he done that warrants a stay of execution?

Who’s made the cake though?
