I think he’d be worse than Choudhury in that position, Champers.Ukaki has played right back before and in the Greek top division.
Don’t tell me he could perform worse than Choudhury did against Bolton!

Hilarious that George Long is above him in the pecking order.
Some will find a team and a level that works for them. Others will decline level after level losing confidence along the way. There are many players who got some chances coming through at PL level, that looked ok with an experienced team around them, but never kicked on.Interesting you mentioned Slimane he's probably the one overseas player who didn't make it here that's still at a equal level to us. Panagiotis Retsos too although I think he left before JoC was injured so our defence was harder to break into with bash, Egan and JoC solidly first choice.
I was looking up how benie was going in the US. They don't rate him whatsoever...
Not sure why this didn't get posted yesterday afternoon butBeen saying I would prefer him to the triallist we eventually rejected
and to left wingers playing on the right and producing nothing
especially against any well organized team
Only problem is Wilder/Club had him playing on the left in the U-21's
although of course he scored the goal from a corner from the RIGHT of the goal outside the box
ie the sort of position a right winger is familiar with being in.
As someone has said as I did last round
Cup at Fleetwood would be ideal place to try him
but not out of position as Marsh is always played
(Not seen his two goals for Chessy yet
The place David Brookes was being bombed out to by Wilder until he was POTT for England U-21 in Toulouse)
Suspect Wilder will get him out to some place where the window is still open rather than consider him
Age before everything!
Don't agree we have no attacking options, despite two injuries
Just Wilder does not utilize them - he nullifies them
ds
WILDER IS THE PROBLEM
my memory might be playing up but didn't it take either injuries to others or terrible form for Coutts & perhaps Freeman to get a chance from CWCoutts, Freeman, Basham, Sharp, the rest of that first squad that were already there? Tanganga made captain, Chong, McGuinness, Ogbene, Ings?
Fair enough if that’s your opinion - I was more than happy with what I saw. Just people got mardy when he wanted to move down South. He really was. Useless at shot stopping, dived late, zero presence in the box. People got hoodwinked by him as he made basic saves look like worldies given how poor his positioning and reflexes were, and then he'd do some celebration after making said basic save...as roy keane says...its yer job![]()
Yes, they were transfer listed but impressed in training enough to be involved in match day squads. When they got their chance, they took it and never looked back.my memory might be playing up but didn't it take either injuries to others or terrible form for Coutts & perhaps Freeman to get a chance from CW
I get thinking that our fans got hoodwinked into voting him player of the season or whatever he won, but Arsenal's scouts? He really was. Never rated him so I was baffled when they went for him. Truth eventually led the story and he was offed. Then Arsenal won the title. You can't win the prem with a comedy keeper.I get thinking that our fans got hoodwinked into voting him player of the season or whatever he won, but Arsenal's scouts?
His sole season at Arsenal he was in the Premier league team of the season and won Goalkeeper of the season.Never rated him so I was baffled when they went for him. Truth eventually led the story and he was offed. Then Arsenal won the title. You can't win the prem with a comedy keeper.
I don’t know mate. After the last two, it’s a pretty low bar so far!I think he’d be worse than Choudhury in that position, Champers.
If we don't save anything doing that may as well keep him around to see if someone buys himIf he’s not good enough just release him. I doubt we’ll get a fee for him as we’re desperate to offload him.
He’s got two years left on his deal & I can’t imagine he’s on big money. Just pay him off and let him get on with his career
I think the point of paying him off is to create a squad place for a free agent? If we don't save anything doing that may as well keep him around to see if someone buys him
see, people have said 'arsenal fans liked him' but I heard and saw many of their fans saying he was a liability. I have never rated him higher than a basic championship keeper. 4th choice at southampton says it all.His sole season at Arsenal he was in the Premier league team of the season and won Goalkeeper of the season.
Initially Arsenal fans couldn't work out why he was dumped, they liked him.
Well we are talking 4 years backsee, people have said 'arsenal fans liked him' but I heard and saw many of their fans saying he was a liability. I have never rated him higher than a basic championship keeper. 4th choice at southampton says it all.
He never made it to elite levels but better than basic definitely.see, people have said 'arsenal fans liked him' but I heard and saw many of their fans saying he was a liability. I have never rated him higher than a basic championship keeper. 4th choice at southampton says it all.
About his level I suspect
Kaki pants set his own low bar at St Andrews last season. He was barged over by all the big kids he played with.I don’t know mate. After the last two, it’s a pretty low bar so far!
Gone back now. Farewell sweet Prince!Kaki pants set his own low bar at St Andrews last season. He was barged over by all the big kids he played with.

Slightly weird take. Just checked the forum ratings system and he was our third highest rated player for that match. Way higher than Peck, One, JLT, Davies, Bindon etc. I remember it as a naive performance but did actually try and go forward. But AI lads eh!Kaki pants set his own low bar at St Andrews last season. He was barged over by all the big kids he played with.
Reality is he was pants. Weak as piss and not quick enough. None of them were physically conditioned for English Championship football. Yeah I looked up my post in that match thread a while back it was "too small to be this slow" or something in those lines. He was nowhere near.Reality is he was pants.
