They are probably knackered because that’s Wilders training method. Run run run. Punt and run. Make sure you’ve done a 20km today lads. Don’t worry about actually playing football just make sure you can run.

Looking at the stats of the last 3 games, you would say wea are only going in 1 direction.

Shots against 63, shots for 30

Given the opposition in these 3 are not exactly the big hitters and 2 of them are expected to be in and around the bottom half. ....

What are we doing the reduce the number of attempts other teams are having?
What are we doing to increase our threat on goal?

If we have no pace, then the midfield needs shoring up to stop teams walking through us. Having 2 upfront is no use if they are getting no supply or every pass into them is neck high or above.

I have zero confidence that things will change with Wilder, the only difference will be moving the deckchairs around with no difference. Hope Im wrong, and if I'm right he needs to be put out of his misery no later than October to give us a chance of safety.
 
Hasn't Rosen already had a company liquidated before COH were? That might be what the EFL look at as there might be a rule disqualifying someone with two liquidations from owning a EFL club. I could be wrong here just something I read or heard on the radio.
 
How do people think we should, with the squad we have got.
No matter your thoughts on Wilder, he can only perform with what he has.
I suspect Wilder has many similar views to us, but knows he has to work on lower budgets, which many would say is ridiculous for a team of our standing. Unfortunately we are a bog standard championship team, who occasionally surprise everybody.
Agree to much dependence on loans and very little coming from Acadamy. It would also be interesting in how many players in academies go on to play professional football in the top two leagues.
As many are saying we need a long term strategy over x number of years.

Wilder takes us down, many will blame the owners and say noone else could have kept us up.

We stay up, its down to Wilder against all odds due to being hung out to dry.

We sack him and unless we over-axhieve, it will be we should have stuck with him.

Ultimately now, we're damned if we do, damned if we don't.

It's extremely unlikely there will be a quick fix so the lack of patience from many won't remotely help with a much needed rebuild and change of ethos.
 
I feel so sad saying this, but I’m almost glad we lost yesterday. I’m glad our outrageously lucky unbeaten run has come to an end. Now, with a defeat on the board we might start taking our predicament a little more seriously.
With our haphazard style and half-hearted attitude, some very ordinary teams are coming to BDTBL and clearly feel encouraged to dominate proceedings.
 
The Blackburn game will be a defining moment. Lose and show the same tactical ineptitude and the alarm bells will start to ring.

There has to be formation change. 4-4-2 needs confining to the dustbin. 3-5-2, 3-4-1-2 or 4-3-3 have to be considered and worked on hopefully now at Shirecliffe.

The problems that stared CW in the face yesterday have to be addressed immediately. Reidewald is not capable of playing in a 2. His lack of fitness is alarming.

The conundrum of Tanganga has to be solved. Alongside Mcguiness he has done reasonably well. Put another player alongside him in Kitching and hes all over the place. Thats not a reflection on Kitching. His inconsistency is costing us points. Hes flirting between best player one game to worst the next. That can not be allowed to continue. Short term going to a 5 or playing him at right back may help.

Choudhury is not a RB. Against any competent pacy winger he struggles. Put him in a 3 in the middle to play the deep lying role Reidewald currently seems incapable of doing. At least we will have someone capable of preventing the opposition midfield walking through us. That should allow Peck to play further forward. Phillips or Rothwell for the third midfielder neither is currently pulling up any trees.

Up front put the only pace we have in Donovan alongside Bamford with BBD as an option off the bench So 3-5-2 it is imo.

Put the players in the right positions and they are capable of getting results. The problem is the poor quality coaching and lack of tactical nous from the sidelines.

Comments about players being tired and waiting for the international break reveal an inability to grasp what the fundamental problems are namely tactics, team shape and responding to the opposition during games.

Do I think we'll go down? ask me after the next 3 games.
 
Definitely a possible relegation group. It is only due to Cooper that we haven't lost every game quite heavily.

Two muggings for 4 points this last week and an arse kicking Saturday conceded 7 goals and over 60 attempts on our goal

A big defeat at Blackburn on Tuesday should signal the end for Wilder, we are playing as bad as we did under Sellés but have fortunately we have scraped 6pts. Some might believe the Wilder narrative that we have played top teams but I don't. Swansea, Birmingham and Norwich might challenge the play off spots but newly promoted Cardiff and Bolton certainly will only be looking to survive (check out the weekend results for these two clubs). Both Cardiff and Bolton could have beaten us handsomely but for Cooper, that is where we are at just now. Tuesday's Blackburn trip is a game we have to get something from before Sundays daunting visit of Wolves
 
Fitness levels of this squad are stocking. It does not matter what the formation or tactics are, we get out run week in week out.

Watched second half of Hull yesterday saw Egan at 33 playing like he did 7 years ago, McBurnie sprinting into the box at the end. (Still shinned it), but he never lasted 90 when playing for us

Our “sports science team” is league 1 standards, in terms of bang for your buck it should be where any spare cash should be pointed going forward

Reputed to be a bankruptcy event where they filed for protection and eventually came out of it. No liquidation.

Bigged up by the local media as a bankruptcy and liquidation - showing yet again how little they know about these things - as well as the handful of initially gleeful club haters on here, but quickly died a death as a news item when the actual facts became known.

Usual overegging of the pudding by the uninformed when it comes to us.

Genuinely what makes you so certain, I’m interested to know why? We finished 13 points above Oxford in 22nd last season. We’ve lost Hamer, Brooks & O’Hare who contributed 41 goals and assists between them.

We’re clearly a worse team & we’ve started the season with 5 pretty woeful performances. Something needs to change and quick and I don’t see what that is right now.

Birmingham was one of the lowest quality games of football I’ve ever watched (from both sides). Swansea we were okay defensively but had zero quality on the ball. Cardiff after a mad first 10 minutes we were basically pinned in our own half praying the ball didn’t go in. Bolton completely outplayed us second half & if they’d stayed switched on after their goals, beat us comfortably. Norwich again completely outplayed us second half and we gave up at 3-1.

I’d call that as a sample of 5 performances fairly woeful. We’ve shown very little quality on the ball & 3 games in a row now as other teams are getting up to speed (and we should be), we’ve been second best for the majority of those games. 2 of those games were at home & we’ve been completely dominated since HT. I’d also argue only one of those sides finish in the top 8 (Norwich).

Our performances aren’t getting better & we’re turning up against every opponent doing the same thing. Our luck finally ran out yesterday.

The Birmingham game was dull, but we got a point against a team that will push play offs and is still unbeaten. A draw was a fair result, so to call that woeful is just exaggeration in my opinion. Had they beat us 0-4 we'd be in that territory.

Can't be arsed to do the same with every game, but Swansea are top of the league and we were the better team. Zero quality on the ball is another massive exaggeration, and the cup wins not being mentioned is convenient.

We could get relegated, we are absolutely on a downwards trend and uninspired at the moment, it's perhaps interesting to discuss the comparisons with our last relegation team, but your just going too far imo.

The performances in our first five games last season weren't all woeful and we didn't get a point. You don't regularly pick up points in this division easily, just by getting lucky.
