He also said publicly that he didn't want Courts and Freeman, they were transfer listed. I imagine every manager is in the situation fairly often, what matters is how they treat the player and whether they are given the chance to change the manager's mind.

All three players were told they were on the way out, they buckled down and worked hard in an attempt to prove Wilder wrong and ended up playing for us long after. It's clear to me that Nils isn't in this camp, he's just obviously not very good.
