I must have missed the appointment of Rosen and Helmy as our scouts
Right so the club aren't responsible for who they put in place to do recruitment?

You blame the poker bloke. WHO DO YOU THINK BROUGHT HIM IN? What are you doing arguing this nonsense?

Do I think we have a top 8 squad? Yes
Comfortably top 8 you said and you're just delusional

I must have missed the appointment of Rosen and Helmy as our scouts

Did i say that? No

What i did say, was that the blame needs to be placed at the appropriate level. 70% of last summers signings get blamed on Poker bloke. Jan's signings, and this seasons signings - come on down Mr Wilder!

Do I think we have a top 8 squad? Yes. Do I think CW is the man to manage or add to that? No

To bring the thread back to topic - how would we replace COH if he goes?

If we moved for Reyes Cleary, then that's a different kettle of fish.

I believe he can play a few positions.

The owners also brought Wilder back - good or bad decision?
Comfortably top 8 you said and you're just delusional
So we haven't got talented, desirable players?

What has that got to do with who was responsible for our recruitment last summer? You cant just shout wilder whenever you cant respond to a point I make.
Your exact point was "The owners brought in Poker Man for recruitment! They've proven they can't make good decisions!" - they made the decision to bring back Wilder. Is that a good or bad decision?

Also - January of the 92pts season and last January, they backed Wilder with the targets he wanted. Does that fall on the owners, or on Wilder?

I just want to understand wants a 1919 decision, and what's someone else's decision as it seems to change every few minutes

I think the owners for the most part have backed Wilder and likely to the detriment of the club in some ways.

We most certainly did not need to spend the money we did on Cannon. Also, had they not sacked Wilder it would have meant last summer he would have had the best part of 20 million quid to piss up the wall.

No it wasn't. My point was they are obviously responsible for recruitment from last summer which was an absolute car crash. Your response is they brought Wilder back. Nothing to do with what im talking about.

I just want to understand wants a 1919 decision, and what's someone else's decision as it seems to change every few minutes
To be clear you're the person who doesn't blame our owners for our recruitment last summer when Wilder wasn't here.

You think recruitment last summer was better than it would have been with Wilder? Jesus wept

And I quote:
Right so the club aren't responsible for who they put in place to do recruitment?

You blame the poker bloke. WHO DO YOU THINK BROUGHT HIM IN?
That is you, saying that the Owners made the decision to bring in the Poker bloke. That is you saying that the club are responsible for the decisions they make in regards to recruitment. I asked you when you originally made this point "Bringing Wilder back: good or bad decision?" And you are still yet to answer me. So I'll ask again - do you trust 1919 to make decisions?
To be clear you're the person who doesn't blame our owners for our recruitment last summer when Wilder wasn't here.
They are to blame for hiring Poker Man. They aren't to blame for his recruitment decisions.

Who's to blame for January 2024's recruitment? Or Jamurary 2026's recruitment? Or Summer 2026's recruitment?

This is the issue I have with you George. You're blinkered when it comes to the club. You absolutely lambast the ownership for mistakes you think are their fault, yet seem to avoid placing any blame that could be viewed as critical of Wilder. And because of this, we've derailed another thread

Back to the subject at hand - has anyone seen anything expanding on this from reliable sources? Or is it just Danny Hall?

That is you, saying that the Owners made the decision to bring in the Poker bloke. That is you saying that the club are responsible for the decisions they make in regards to recruitment
Correct. You've literally proven exactly my point. They were responsible. I haven't answered on wilder it has absolutely nothing to do with how well the owners have done on recruitment. Again, just shouting Wilder whenever you've nothing else to say is means nothing.

Eric is right though you're too stupid to debate with

You've ignored some key points there mate, so I'll ask them again here for you:
  • I asked you when you originally made this point "Bringing Wilder back: good or bad decision?" And you are still yet to answer me. Do you trust 1919 to make decisions?
  • Who's to blame for January 2024's recruitment? Or Jamurary 2026's recruitment? Or Summer 2026's recruitment?

I think you think that if I say I don't trust them to make decisions you've proven that Wilder coming back must have been bad. Go and Google a broken clock is right twice a day and have a fun few hours trying to grasp it.

This all came from me asking if you think recruitment has been good under these owners which you do. You've made it about Wilder as always.

No, I don't think that George. This isn't me doing some weird "Gotcha" moment. I just want to understand what qualifies as a good and bad decision to you, and why - because I can't fathom the duality you have.

You're also an incredibly petty and bitter bloke when someone doesn't agree with you, often resorting to insults. It's okay to disagree - that's part of football!

You still haven't answered my points. Is it safe to say you don't have an answer to them?

If Callum goes we are going to find it near on impossible to get a replacement in before tomorrow night - unless we have one already lined up? 👀 😂😂😂

What if they said we’ll give you a generous fee for O’Hare and if you accept well clear be path for you to get Souttar.
What would you do?

No I insult when you just avoid the points on purpose. Deliberately misrepresent what I say and make totally irrelevant points to avoid answering anything.

Your points are just your usual anti Wilder stuff. The facts are he left us having finished 3rd with 92 points. The recruitment since has been an absolute shambles and has left us in this position. How anyone could argue that I don't know.

You not only claiming it's not the owners responsibility, but actually saying they've done well shows your knowledge/agenda.

If you can figure out the clock analogy you have your answer. Good luck you'll need it

That's literally not what I said was it?

You really are a WUM.
No I'm not a WUM at all. I argue in good faith and I explain why I think things.

had they not sacked Wilder it would have meant last summer he would have had the best part of 20 million quid to piss up the wall.
I thought this implied it would have been worse. I think it's very reasonable for me to have thought that but if not ok.

So to be clear I've taken that quote as you implying recruitment would be worse under Wilder. That's why I asked the question. Not being a WUM. Not trying to twist your words I've just taken it to mean that

If Callum goes we are going to find it near on impossible to get a replacement in before tomorrow night - unless we have one already lined up? 👀 😂😂😂
Or, of course he doesn't go?
Wrexham aren't exactly a career high point, even with Hollywood backing!

I am just saying Wilder is no better with a large sum of money available to him.

No I insult when you just avoid the points on purpose. Deliberately misrepresent what I say and make totally irrelevant points to avoid answering anything.
I think you insult because you can't argue George - you're a petty child who doesn't understand the points he's making beyond "Wilder good!"
Your points are just your usual anti Wilder stuff. The facts are he left us having finished 3rd with 92 points. The recruitment since has been an absolute shambles and has left us in this position. How anyone could argue that I don't know.
Again - Jan 2025, Jan 2026, Summer 2026 - who's fault?
You not only claiming it's not the owners responsibility, but actually saying they've done well shows your knowledge/agenda.
Where have I said the owners have done well recruitment wise? I said they hired someone to do the recruitment for them, and that outside of who they hired, it doesn't fall on them.
If you can figure out the clock analogy you have your answer. Good luck you'll need it
Please - if you're going to insult me, be creative. Comments about my intelligence don't really work, considering you argue like you have 2 braincells fighting for 3rd place.

But they can offer us and him stupid money. Tests how much we want to keep hold of assets that we don't have to sell
