English... are we blaming Wilder for this one unall?

He wouldn't have been top of my list by any means, given the recent injury concerns, but considering our current financial situation, I think he's a good signing and represents a lower-cost gamble. As much as the vast majority of us would have liked Souttar, spending upwards of £10m on a CB when we're crying out for creativity doesn't seem wise. Give Webster a month to get back up to full fitness and he could prove to be a great bit of business.

I’d be a bit more comfortable about this signing if our club had any made any steps towards improving the medical or fitness teams.
Why?
Wher difference will that make?
We don’t have a magic sponge.
We’re always taking gambles on players coming back from injury because we can’t afford for players of the quality we need.

Still think Webster only happens if Souttar deal does not happen. The fact he has been training with us, and now made public, suggests an attempt of indirect pressure on Leicester. My Foxes supporting friend seems to think that several of their players have had a fall out with Mr "Ego" Martin.

The way he's started the season, Souttar seems to have fallen out with his own feet.

I thought you were being pedantic.

Bryan fuckin English 🤣. Brexit Blades FC
I played football with Bryan English at Sheffield University in the late 70s. He was a left back from down south, a medical student and a great lad who did a lot of the organising for games. He will be well aware of Dore. Thats where we played. I was amazed when he became Chelsea's club doctor. I would suggest that we employ him to diagnose, treat and rehab injuries. Our injury and fitness problems are down to the training regimes overseen by Wilder and delivered by clowns like Tom Little and Prestridge.
