With the Mansfield Cup game the week before the season starts will Wilder use this as a first eleven workout or show the disrespect he usually does to cup games.
I think he should play the strongest team he can and then rotate in the second half.
You can guarantee Mansfield will be up for the game.
 



I'll do some fishing, make sure you finish the Yorkshire puds, plenty of mustard and thick gravy on...

New financial rules are linked to revenue, cup runs bring in revenue, we need to take them more seriously than we have been doing recently
 
No reason to not play the first XI.

It represents the first competitive match of the season and a great opportunity to build an initial winning mentality.

Treating it as a reserve game and pissing of the fans is exactly what we don’t need.

If it was sandwiched between two crucial league games you can understand some rotation; not when it’s there on its own on a Saturday you can’t.

Aye, I'm pretty sure we will. If we're playing a first XI in pre season games, we will against Mansfield.
