Isn't this basically a knock off of the Errea kit from 2 years ago with. 1) a nicer shade off red and 2) those hideous new overly thick Adidas stripes? Not keen on the Adidas logo or 3 stripes in white, black would have been nicer.

We've had far far worse but it's just too similar to what we've had recently I think. Hopefully the away kit is something different to the pap away kits Adidas served up last time round.

Too similar? We play in red and white stripes, there’s only so much you can do. For me there is a really good ‘balance’ to this shirt. It’s got the quality we’ve been missing the last few seasons with errea!

I see other teams thst play in stripes and they try different things like fades or wavy lines. We just do regimented red & white stripes every single time, it's a bit dull.

Either of these looks much better I think. The size of the adidas logo is also an issue as it makes the club crest look really small in comparison. So I made that slightly smaller.

Be interesting to see if they get the colours right or if some people end up with shirts with a weird dark bit across the bottom because of the lighting on those photos. Some of last season's purple knockoffs were really odd colours because of the lighting on the photoshoot.

That naff design off dhgate that several people seemed to think was real, clearly it was never real because:

1.blade pattern on cuff: copy off 26 shirt, was never going to be like that 2 years running
2.old style logo: they would have announced this if they were changing logo
3.1997 copy was done in 2023, would not be done again so soon
4.it looks shit, even we cant screw it up that bad
5.not a style adidas would make

Leicester released their adidas kit the other day and offer it in long sleeve. It’s almost identical in terms of template - just a different collar. I think we will probably see our first long sleeve adidas shirt made available this time.

Yeah that’s a piss take. Hadn’t noticed that. No doubt United will play it off as numbers must be visible but that’s only a rule in the PL and we’ve known for some time we weren’t going to be competing in that league.

I long for the days we release striped-back shirts but players get ones with a blank patch like manufacturers managed in the 80’s and 90’s.
