Everyone calling this kit crap - what exactly were you expecting for a team that plays in red and white stripes, occasionally with black pinstripes around the red?? Tony Currie’s face in Turin Shroud form on the front? The material to be 1970s stout hessian knit? The shorts to have red and white lining? Some people really do love to moan.

I don’t dislike it. I don’t mind it. It’s alright to good. The adidas logo looks strange in white and red. White with black border or black with white border would look way better.

And plain backs on any teams who play in stripes will always infuriate me.

From what I gather these kits were very much last minute ‘get what your given’. But next year we should be much better. Apparently adidas are scrapping their tiered approach with clubs and everyone is getting the same treatment.

Its simple. Its inoffensive. There's not really a massive amount you can do with stripes.... it's all been done before.

If we go against the grain and have zigzags, diamonds, or halves it would cause an uproar.

I’ll buy that wish the black stripes were a bit thicker c1977/78 but it’ll do and if the rumours are right re away kit sabella river plate are right it’ll be fine by me

Not a fan of the thicker adidas stripes in general, but with this kit they work really well.

Isn't this basically a knock off of the Errea kit from 2 years ago with. 1) a nicer shade of red and 2) those hideous new overly thick Adidas stripes? Not keen on the Adidas logo or 3 stripes in white, black would have been nicer.

We've had far far worse but it's just too similar to what we've had recently I think. Hopefully the away kit is something different to the pap away kits Adidas served up last time round.
