Owners can invest additional money into their club that does not make up part of the 85%. The allowed amount is a max of £33m over any 3-year period, with a max single season investment of £15m.

If I understand the detail correctly the owners can also invest money in the women’s team and infrastructure projects without it being treated as income.
On the face of it that doesn’t immediately help the men’s team, but could do in the future, especially if we have quality training facilities.

According to the BBC Transfers list, the following have already made an acquisition, since the start of June:

Wolves, Birmingham, Southampton, Bolton, Norwich, WBA, Burnley and Millwall.

Top 20 finish for us?
From what I can see there have been 16 signings.
7 of these were on loan at their new clubs last season so agreements probably were already in place.
2 are 35 year old frees.
2 are Ben Davies and George Long - assume there's not a clammer for them to return?

There's loads of time for us to make signings - its the same every year - not sure I'd have been overly bothered about any on the list below signing for us.

Wolves: Trippier & Jiminez (Frees)
Birmingham: Solis (Played for them last season)
Southampton: Peretz & Larin (Played for them last season). George Long
Bolton: Ben Davies...
Norwich: Bruno Alves (Loan), Sam Field (Played last season)
WBA: Barney Stewart (Scottish Champ), Jimmy-Jay Morgan
Burnley: Florentino Luis (Played last season)
Millwall: Metcalfe (L1)
West Ham: Lamadrid (Played last season)
QPR: Kemper
Derby: Bobby Clark (Played last season)

Just because we have no parachute money doesn’t mean that we are financially worse off to that extent. It depends on what other sources of income will arise.
For as much as I have very poor opinions of Bettis he does seem to keep us on a even keel financially.

Jimenez will be an absolute cheat code at this level. Wolves looking very strong already.

Rest is total sense, July at least for major movement.

Not sure how he is at 35 but in the same vain, you’d think Trippier’s set-piece delivery would be a real boon at this level.

He looks ok for Mexico + 1 in 3 for Wolves in last prem stint + 1 in 4 for Fulham over recent years. Not a bad return in mid-lower top tier teams. Strong in air, poacher, if he stays fit should bag 20+ in a fancied top end champ team. Like a sort of ageing, Latin, Bamford with a slightly stronger pedigree.
