I was just letting the guy know the story behind why they sing it and the "rumours" & i did say nothing was given out in public knowledge regarding which team or player's.

All I mentioned is that two player's in our academy at the same time story broke had been frozen out, I also gave an alternative option as to why our own players was frozen out.

I gave a reasonable guess as to why the story in the press didnt get any further either.

Hope that clears up any misunderstandings from my post.

I never said it was a shock that he was released, just stated that I noticed his name as he was scoring a few and seemed to be heavily invlovled in our u21s having a few decent games.

As mentioned above and in previous post both could have been frozen out due to contract situation which it appears pa had a thing for. Peck could have signed new one and the other didnt hence let go or he just wasnt good enough lol.

And it was just coincidence or bad timing at the same time the story was printed.

So Philips at 8. Cannon has been given the 9 so we're short on a 7. Chong was 27 last season, so maybe he gets 7.

Weirdly there's some oddness around the squad on the official page. No Brooks, makes sense, but Ings, Mee, T.Davis, Jairo, all present, along with Soumare and the other loanees - Hjelde, Hoever, Bindon, Ogbene, Philips.

If the web team have been instucted to remove Brooks, why not all the loanees as and released players as well?

Absolutely And I can understand that, but the conversation he will have faced is look Chris you want Phillips Souttar A another and B another you need to offload to keep the money sensible. Ideally to bring cash in they would offload the dross we have but on contracts that they have that’s impossible. Hence Chris left with tough choices to be made but whatever the haters say he isn’t stupid he would have liked to keep Brooks and Hamer and Peck.

Not sure about Andrew but I know his mate still works at the club. Just looked at the photo in Andrew's twitter. I used to work with Nick who is wearing the Wendy shirt in the photo. He isnt a Wendy fan so I dont really know the reason for him wearing the shirt but knowing him he likes to do outrageous things for a laugh! Have bumped into Nick once or twice since I retired from work 3 years ago and he often goes to Blades home games for the last 15 or so years.
