First time I won’t have a season ticket, I’ve just had enough at the moment, haven’t enjoyed my football for a while and it seems we have an ownership that are now scrared sh*tless of making the necessary decisions after making a mistake with Selles.

Now we are left with a manager well past his sell by date and an accountant making football decisions and protecting his mate. If this changes, I may consider renewing in the future.

We tried your suggestion last Summer (going in a totally different direction with a young modern thinking coach) and it failed miserably,

Every genuine Sheff Utd supporter should support the manager until their position becomes untenable.
Agree there’s grounds for concern regards Wilder but it’s far from untenable.
My issue with Wilder is his minor signings are generally quite good but his major signings are often poor.
Ironically, if we’re not throwing much money about then Wilder might be at his best.

Think the target will be to sneak into the top 8 and if it’s looking unlikely then expect Wilder to be sacked around Christmas time.
If we sacked managers everytime we had concerns we’d have 2 or 3 managers each season.

However if you’ve not enjoyed then it’s fair enough. I also quite often don’t enjoy it but must be a glutton for punishment ha ha.

Football hasn’t been a sport for decades…..it’s become big business.
Every club should have an accountant heavily involved in making decisions…..otherwise that club risks heavy points deductions and administration.

Surely the pigs will sell 25k, new owners, new optimism, they all reckon they will piss league one.

Is it too late to cancel a season ticket? Another absolutely ridiculous decision to not sign Ollie McBurnie.

If Wilder had been a manager he’d have come back……Wilder likes his personality in and around the club.

The problem was Selles was manager at the time and he didn’t fancy McBurnie.

The thing that gets me is…..McBurnie was constantly picking up niggly injuries when playing for us
He goes to Hull City and seems to be injury free.

Looks like 20k have gone over 7k in the south 6 k in the family ,over 6k kop 1k Westfield 400 kop corner plus corporate to add on

Not great when you consider the population of the city / region. Our ticket “sales” department really is shite, not sure what they actually sell. Can barely “sell” above 3000 match day tickets, BLUT repeatedly empty, and we’re down on season ticket sales.

In a weird way next season less season tickets could mean more match day revenue, if we have a good season we would end up brining in more money with potentially more pay on the day fans.

We may as well also give the bigger clubs the upper tier next season because we weren’t selling out last season for those games. There’s at least 6-7 clubs that would bring 4-5000 to the lane.

Our season ticket sales are always higher than at Sheff Wed….they’d love to sell 20K tickets.

Regards the upper tier…..
remember McCabe proudly stating the new upper tier offers loads of flexibility as we can offer away fans various amounts of tickets up there.

The very first match the new BLUT stand was opened we had a sell out crowd of 31.7K against Liverpool. The capacity was 32.5K that season.
There was 3K Liverpool fans in the lower tier and an extra 1.5K Liverpool fans in the upper tier……with netting covering 800 seats separating the fans.
I remember after that match loads of Blades complaining that they couldn’t get tickets for the match and since then we’ve never given away fans any part of the upper tier for league matches.

Not sure why we can’t do something similar….for certain matches we can offer away clubs an extra 1K to 1.5K in the upper tier.
They could still be a large no mans lands selecting the fans and the doors in the concourse areas can be sectioned off keeping the fabs apart.

Blut was never empty, on average there was about 1.5k in on top of the Westfield corner .we will end up with about 22k season. Cards including the corporate packages . After the season we've just had it's a great figure

Then you alienate those occasional supporters who go in the BLUT, as they won't be able to sit there. We should be finding ways to fill it with future fans, not giving opposition teams an advantage. I'd target schoolkids, like we did with Junior Blades in 1981. Make it ridiculously cheap, fill it and get them hooked.

100% agree. But that’s also my point, we’ve done a terrible job of selling those seats, numerous big games last year and the year before when the away end was sold out and the ground was still 2000-3000 short on capacity with half of the upper tier empty. May as well fill the rest of the seats in the other parts of the ground and give the full upper tier to the away end if our ticket sales department can’t sell them.

Spot on, we should be bending over backwards to get kids in and then pester parents for a ST. Think we have definitely took the eye on ff the ball with this in last few years

It shouldn’t matter. We need someone giving daily updates. Doesn’t matter if it’s 12 or 12,000.
I don’t understand why any of us need regular updates on season ticket sales. In what way does it practically affect us ?

It would be nice to hear from time to time how many are sold, particularly after Thursday of this week, but it doesn’t affect much.

I was taking the piss out of Wednesday fans for their updates over the weekend where some saddo has counted that they sold 12 tickets yesterday. A massive 19 the day before.

Who cares? Its whats happening on the field that interests me (sometimes).

Twat didn't want to come back
Not had a bad season so can say he made the right decision but the stuff he's said about us in the past only to go elsewhere shows what he's about

Sorry ! Hot weather addled what’s left of a brain !!

Fair response. I believe the decision the board made to get rid of Wilder and go in a different direction was the right one, they just made an absolute pigs ear of it. It still is the right decision, Wilder has done nothing this season, despite being in charge for circa 40 games, he also personally cost us promotion the previous season too. He’s in real danger of of ruining his legacy.

His signings are socking, his football is poor, never takes responsibility and some of his antics are embarrassing.

I’m done and I’m not sure I’m the only one who feels like this, over half of our large group of season ticket holders have stopped going over the last two years. There’s nothing to be excited about 🤷‍♂️

He did want to come back the club didn’t want him last summer he ado wanted to stay the previous. year but our money offer was to low

Is that the player or our fitness conditioning? It does make wonder with our record
