Feeling sorry for West Ham Fans

I've kept in touch with 2 spammers I met year's ago in smithfield market. 2 really decent lads who are totally devastated about where they are! A lot of them are baffled about what's gone wrong as they're saying their squad is at least mid table. Tbf whenever I've watched them they've always look decent.

Not sure if this has been mentioned previously (can't believe it hasn't!) but West Ham taking over the Olympic Stadium was always dodgy:
Whats also interesting is at the WHU/Leeds FA Cup match they announced the start of selling Season Tickets back then so how many bought season tickets with a view to them still playing in the PL.

There’s only 4 clubs I have a visceral hatred for.

Pigs
Leeds
Forest
Rangers

No particularly strong feelings about any others. But I’m glad West Ham have gone down.
Pigs and Rangers for me. One is the Scottish version of the other!

Leeds and Forest were both clubs that my mates supported growing up so never ‘hated’ them but dislike both.

West Ham don’t even register for me. They did something that was dodgy, but if Warnock wouldn’t have let us lose away at Villa so easily and we hadn’t shit the bed against lowly Wigan it would have been irrelevant.

Feel for them a bit actually. Had their soul ripped out moving from Upton Park and terrible ownership decisions (managers, player purchases) aswell as Karen Brady lying her arse off many times. Their fans are good value and Upton Park has been a great away day in the past. Looking forward to a few Tevez masks in next seasons games for good bants!

I've been cheering for them to stay up all season. Much prefer them to Forest and Spurs who are both far more arrogant. I genuinely feel sorry for their fans because they've basically lost their club
They didn't feel sorry for us back in 2007. I don't particularly care either way but West Ham are likely to be just as arrogant as Spurs and Forest too given they've been in the PL for 14 years and get 60,000 most weeks which no doubt will give them the entitlement that they should be a PL club. In fairness they should really!

Zero sympathy for them. The shadow of Tevez is long and dark and they have been teetering on the brink for too long.

Be nice to see if they even half fill that godawful stadium next season.

Bunch of lapel-thumbing, wide-stance-walking, upright-piano-singing, pearly-coat-wearing tossers.

Also gonna enjoy watching London taxpayers forking out fat wads of cash to keep 'the 'ammerz' from playing their home games on Putney Marshes.

I’ve no real feelings towards either West Ham or Spurs, but for me the sheer volume of celebration from Spurs for surviving is off the charts.

They scraped survival last and this season, but somehow are the heroes of the story. I hoped they’d go do down just to show that no one is untouchable, but again they’ve been saved more due to that quality of the teams around them than their own, ridiculous budget and capability.

The prem will always be a fucked while they have a buffer of three poor teams making up the shortfall.

Most of their lads I have met are sound not like arsenal spuds and Chelski . Yeh the Tevez thing but it’s hardly their fans fault that one is it . Was a working class club and Upton Park was as close a ground in set up as/ atmosphere as the lane . Look forward to seeing them take on Millwall 🤛🏻🤛🏻🤛🏻🙈

I used to go to a lot of their games around 81-83 era as I had a mate who was a Hammers fan , enjoyed going to their games as they just got promoted into the top flight & watched them at a lot of the north & midland sides they played & to that end they were my second club .
The West Ham lads I met in that era were all sound but over the years I lost touch with my mate Paul as his family moved back down south for work so nothing but good memories from that era .
My more recent acquaintances with them generally haven’t been good since the Tevez thing ..one in particular springs to mind ..shortly after that I was on hols in Cyprus with the Mrs & she got talking to a lass in a bar one night that were stood near us & her other half was a Hammer , after a few beers & then knowing I was a Blade the lad was gettin very very gob shitey & pushing his luck way too far ..sadly it crossed the tipping point & it unfortunately it resulted in him picking himself off the floor & realigning his approach to conflict resolution

I try not to be too hateful about anything as it eats away at you inside ...
However I don't really like Celtic, on the other hand I wouldn't say I'm a lover of Rangers either.
But I hold a special sort of contempt for Celtic.
I'm not religious either ....
And I'm also not going to engage in a discussion about it .
Celtic fucking despise anything English

I was beginning to think there was something about blades despising Rangers as have no reason why I should but I do! Looks like it’s broader than that though and we’re a mixed bunch which makes more sense.

And if they don't get their act together soon Spurs will eventually drop down into the championship, unless you can get away from constant season long relegation fights, it will catch you eventually.

Villa, Newcastle, Burnley and Sunderland from Prem, Rotherham and Northampton from L1, Barnsley and Birmingham from Championship.

Now West Ham and Wolves have finally dropped after constant relegation fights have finally caught up with them.

Not too long ago Everton were a Doucoure goal away from being relegated on the final day, which would have been disastrous at the time due to the state their club was in.
