Plus the meltdown from Southampton fans is already generational...it can only get funnier if the side they beat in the semis goes on to win the lot.

Also as much as Hull can be annoying, we do owe them a lot of credit, especially Mo Diame for their play off final win against Pigs in 2016

If their players didnt have relegation clauses in their contracts then I think they will struggle to keep their best players if I am right in thinking that many of them played in the Premier League during the 2024-25 season.

I have the childhood affinity with Boro the same as some people slightly older than me have with the early 90's pig side.

Last time I spoke to Matt was at his mum's 50th birthday party, at the time he was on loan to Accrington Stanley (from Huddersfield). He said he knew what happened in the Jose Baxter incident at Dublin as players from Accrington Stanley were there too. He refused to tell me what had happened.

Matt Crooks always struck me as a player that would end up playing for Utd. Thought that since he was a Miller and i thought he would have been a cheap punt, but obviously our scouting network have all that covered and know so much more when it comes to getting bang for buck in the footballing transfer world...

Maybe he may still be a Blade one day. Still like him as a player, though Championship is his top end level.
