They'll disappear next season and return the season after.I have been assured that Coventry fans really don’t care about us above any other club …
Look I believe them ….. and I am so pleased that so many of them have taken the time and trouble to register on this forum to express how much they really aren’t that bothered.
Prefer to be in their position than ours right now not going to lie!
We can give them one season out of 25!Prefer to be in their position than ours right now not going to lie!
Yes agreed, I expect him to get sacked next season when Coventry are on 10 points at Xmas! They’ve been fortunate enough to get, in my view, a very good manager who is unfairly maligned by thick people. Their problem is that, despite what Sky Blues thinks, they have no chance of keeping him long term. They are a stepping stone for him, and his aspirations will be far higher than Coventry’s ceiling. I predict that he’ll be there for a maximum of one more season.
Wasn't that supposed to happen to Sunderland this season according to this forum it was . I expect that Coventry are and have followed the Sunderland model and will have been preparing two options over the last three months.Yes agreed, I expect him to get sacked next season when Coventry are on 10 points at Xmas!
For most of their history, were they not one of only a handful of teams never to have been relegated. We can give them one season out of 25!
Football is a game where natural levels are always found, they’ll end up back where they started at some point.

Palace to replace Glasner seems like a very good fitHe’d be mad to not consider the inevitable an available positions when the top flight summer managerial merry-go-round stops.
It'll say a lot about the man if he jumps ship as soon as he gets Coventry promoted.Palace to replace Glasner seems like a very good fit
Clubs aren't loyal to players or managers if they don't hit expectations. Coventry would get compensated, just like the clubs of the successful players they'll be attempting to buy. It'll say a lot about the man if he jumps ship as soon as he gets Coventry promoted.
Sadly, you're right. Were it me, I would want to see if I can defy the odds and keep the team I've just got promoted in the top flight.Clubs aren't loyal to players or managers if they don't hit expectations. I don't think there's any real morality around football contracts, on any side.
I agree. But I get why you'd consider the very real chance of being sacked by November at Coventry, regardless what their owners may saySadly, you're right. Were it me, I would want to see if I can defy the odds and keep the team I've just got promoted in the top flight.
If I was him I would be eyeing up the Palace job whilst my stock is high. I think Kieran McKenna should have done similar when he got Ipswich to the PL without parachute payments. For any manager who aspires to the top levels of the game clubs like Coventry and Ipswich are stepping stones.Sadly, you're right. I don’t think it’s very likely so many established premier league clubs will decide to shit the bed in the same season. It’s incredibly fortunate for the likes of Sunderland and Brentford who could have easily had a wobble themselves if the likes of Forest, Spurs, Wolves & West Ham would have just had a ‘normal’ season.Wasn't that supposed to happen to Sunderland this season according to this forum it was . I expect that Coventry are and have followed the Sunderland model and will have been preparing two options over the last three months.
