Wrexham have revenue streams so why not get on with creating our own
What's to stop us leveraging our ownership to get a tasty sponsorship agreement with one of their other firms

A lot calling for Hamer, Campbell and Cannon to go, to be fair not got a problem with that but Hamer and Cannon seem to be on the left behind Bamford, if we get rid of those 2 need 2 replacements with a One returning from loan to replace Campbell maybe another striker in either on loan or perm to top up the options
I think you work out who is very likely to go and then need to make a team from whats left and then address gaps. If you can upgrade then fine but you can’t just get rid with no replacement.

Probably two bankable ones are Hamer and Peck. We may compromise on fee for the first to remove wages and for the second we may get a decent fee.

Before you start replacing you’re looking at (in contract):

Cooper
(Grbic)
Seriki Tanganga McGuinness McCallum
(Shackleton) (Baltiste) (Zatterstrom) (Burrows)
Brooks Arblaster Riedewald O’Hare
(Chong) (Rothwell) (Matos) (Norrington-D)
Bamford Campbell
(Oné) (Cannon)

Appreciate Rhys is not a LM but you get my gist.

If the loans go back and those out of contract leave then this is roughly where you are.

It should be obvious where we need to improve.

For what it's worth I think the football has been pretty decent since CW returned. Far better and more entertaining than last season. But the drop off in performances over the last month or so has been evident - maybe it's players realising the play-offs have slipped away from them. I'm firmly in the CW camp this season and hope we give him a chance to build over the summer but we do need to be mindful of not allowing him free reign over transfers and signing journeymen he thinks he can trust (Rothwell for example, who looks well past it on albeit early evidence). The recruitment was obviously shit over the summer but I still kinda understood the direction they were trying to take, even if it was terribly executed. We need to keep signing and trying to develop younger players so we can financially compete and I don't think CW gets that side of things right all the time.

Sadly I CANNOT see Wilder going.
They would NOT sell Zatterstrom and sign Wilder's journeymen over 30's as they have if Wilder was going any time soon.
They are as clueless as Wilder is with young players or spending money.
They have zero clue as to who to appoint as manager or even what to look for.

Said it before and today again before it was removed.
The next time we are up for sale will be us in Admin when COH walk away after wasting 'enough' funds on the disaster Wilder on the insistence of a moronic press and fan base who 'thinks' he is not the disaster he is.
The WORST manager in SUFC history.
The WORST manager in SUFC history???
How old are you?12?

Rothwell looks like the player my Rangers mate told me we were getting.

Grossly unfit.

The underlying fitness issues are perhaps the most pressing thing to sort out this summer. Part of it is down to the profile of the players we've got but we're also really, really bad straight after half time (energy gels not kicking in?!) and in the last 15 minutes. I'd trade a bit of technical ability in the summer for players who are capable of competing athletically for 90 minutes.

I'd also expect us to raise enough in fees (Hamer, Zätterström, one or more of Peck/Brooks/Seriki, perhaps Burrows, one of both of Cannon/Campbell - a potential total of £30m+) to be able to bring in some decent players even with the drop in income.

I know we have done Girona and other destinations for fitness training at the start of pre-season in the past however that hasn't worked the last few times. I don't know if by going to places like that without a competitive fixture we are doing more harm than good due to losing a couple of days flying and any new squad members either have to fly out mid session or miss it and won't know the group until they get back. Staying local might be our best bet
