Cooper also had more clean sheets last season (23) than Hendersons championship season (20).Topping Deano is quite an achievement!
For a lot of this season he has been poor (for whatever reason) - the clean sheets % stats are boosted by a record number of clean sheets last season. Overall he has a high % of clean sheets during his time here, but this season (at least until recently, haven’t checked the stats for a couple of weeks) he has been one of the worst championship keepers this season. It’s possible for both of those things to be true simultaneously. This is the biggest issue with looking solely at the stats, they can easily be manipulated to suit whatever point you’re looking to make, the stats are highly useful but only when used in the right wayYes but dont forget hes the worst keeper in the Championship according to some stattos on here
It also hasn't helped by the amount of work he is getting through every game especially earlier in the season but even as recent as Pompey, they managed to get 8 shots on target vs our 3. The Ipswich away game where the team conceded 5, there were 11 shots on target. It's defiantly helped when you have a settled defence and midfield in front of you.For a lot of this season he has been poor (for whatever reason) - the clean sheets % stats are boosted by a record number of clean sheets last season. Is that you Dean?100% would have Henderson over cooper! regardless of what age! Henderson is by far the better GK!
It was right in the corner though. More disappointed that McNeill wasn't closed down quicker, but we were still re-organising after subbing Hamer on that side.Bit disappointed again with Cooper for their goal
To late now we've blown the parachute money and next season will be harder. And another goal cost because he can’t get down. Must be replaced in the summer.
Well, last season people were arguing that Cooper was the better of the two.Is that you Dean?
In all seriousness, yeah we all would, currently England's 2nd keeper (not far off No1)![]()
I’d argue he’s in the top 3 of our current problemsHe’s the least of our problems but that was piss poor
I think he might have not seen it through all the bodies.Their 1st goal was again straight at him. He cant cope with shots right at him.
Or maybe we need about ten attempts to score?I’d argue he’s in the top 3 of our current problems
I think most of the above comments tonight are from people that watched it at home. If you would have been at the match you’d have been able to witness the velocity of the shot easier. It was like a rocket.
I’m not defending him though, he needs to improve. When was the last time we had a goalkeeper that commanded his area and was decisive.
Take your point but it's the same speed on the telly!I think most of the above comments tonight are from people that watched it at home. If you would have been at the match you’d have been able to witness the velocity of the shot easier. It was like a rocket.

I’d argue you’re possibly right. But I think our two biggest issues are defensive naivety and a lack of cohesion, and our end product.I’d argue he’s in the top 3 of our current problems
