Wonder if he can take the Binman and Lightweight Louie in Jan.
That would be a positive

Bottom of the table. Playing the side just above the relegation zone. Losing keeps them 6 points from safety

This is why if I was a Wednesday fan I’d have no optimism about James Bord coming in. He had influence in our club for 5-6 months and ruined us.

I doubt that he will be as bad again. He can't. It's nearly impossible. They might even find an absolute bargain but if they are still not allowed to spend the quality of player they can attract will be small.

They’ve got to have deep pockets the new owners. You’ve got a training ground & stadium that needs renovating majorly. They need to sign 10-15 players. Not a cheap or easy operation for them

I recently read that Zaragoza were the 7th best supported team in Spain from a census that was done, admittedly it was a few years ago but things like that shouldn’t change too much. Shocking that they are where they are.

I looked it up. They're currently the 8th best supported team in the Spanish second division. Around 14k. So definitely punching below their weight.

Mind you, thats quite a drop. They were on 18k last season and 22k, the season before.

The thing I read was on Wiki and it was a national poll of supporters responding rather than gates. They won the "Nayim from the half way line" Euro final v Arsenal didn't they, so were decent a while back (a bit like Wednesday fans seeing their team in Europe beating those Luxemburg postmen).

"Con el pitido, la gente recuperó los cánticos contra la Directiva pero necesitarán mucho más para presionar a una venta a unos dueños que han dejado morir al Real Zaragoza. Ahora los focos se centran en un Rubén Sellés que podría ser destituido en las próximas horas tras una victoria en los últimos 12 choques."

In a nutshell...The fans are up in arms against the board and after 1 win in the last 12 games Selles looks like he could be fired in the next few hours..."

It’s only March, still time for a hat-trick

hes gone

My first thoughts on him becoming our manager have been proven correct, I did get behind him that is until Bristol put 4 past us. He talked a good game but in every other area he was utterly hopeless as another club has found out to their cost, the guy really needs to find a different profession, although he must have made a good living from his failures. I wonder if he can find one more mug owner to give him a job. Total 💩 💩 💩 💩 💩 💩

Some of us were saying last summer that it was inexplicable that a team that just missed out on the PL appointed a manager whose best career achievements were avoiding relegation from the 2nd tier on GD and taking another team to mid table in the 3rd tier

We were told that there was seriously mitigating factors. Hull had a crazy chairman, Reading were in a mess etc etc. Well it turns out that if a manager has a mediocre record, its probably because he's a mediocre manager.

Sorry to disagree but, the bar of "Mediocracy" is several levels above where "Hat-trick Selles" stands at the moment.

Shame the Bord consortium fell through. Ruben the Clown would have been perfect as the new head coach over at the Sty. An idiot talking shite to a load of other idiots.

We have had some terrible managers over the years but i honestly cant think of one as hopeless as Selles. Have we ever had a worse? Adkins? Adrian Heath? Mickey Adams? Martin Peters? David Wier (quite similar to RS. Bigged up as great but hopeless.) Answers below please!
