Felt a bit sorry for SWFC today

Even if it had turned into a glorious day, you'd still have found something to moan about.

I'd have been delighted with even a comfortable 2-0 win and keeping eleven men on the pitch.

Instead we had to put up with fucking pillocks getting sent off again and throwing the entire thing into jeopardy.

Despite myself, I felt sorry for them. Despite a bit of a rally and the goal, that side will struggle in League One. No quality, no leadership and a manager who has done absolutely nothing wherever he’s been.

The only thing they’ve got to look forward to is James Bord taking them over, or a protracted car crash watching the takeover fall apart. Bord was pretty diabolical for us and if they don’t get taken over fast, they could be due another points deduction next season. Could League Two be on the cards?

I heard some muppet on the train talking about “Older, Bigger, Better”. Even that sounded half hearted. Looking at BDTBL and hearing the progress of the Dore new training facility, we really are moving decades ahead of them. They’ve got nothing going for them.
Bord saw the back of some our better players for some in his computer as well as seeing Wilder go and bringing in Selles . We sank and he has a big part in it. Would he do the same with his wendy doubt it.

That's not the way I saw it.

The fact is, we went 2-0 up in the 19th minute at home against the worst Championship team in history.

When the final whistle went on 90+8 I breathed a sigh of relief.

That should never have happened.
I know it's not the way you saw it

We had a man sent off .
They were on top for a short spell of 5-10 minutes
We changed things round and they posed no further threat ,then they had a man sent off and we had several chances to kill the game

Where you get rubbish for 80 minutes from I've no idea but given your general melancholy outlook I suspect you are stuck in the spell where they looked threatening and can't escape
Frank.
I'm getting seriously worried.

About me.

For a couple of weeks now I've agreed with a few of your posts.
I think I need to see a doctor. 😆😆😆

I got the feeling at 2-0 that one more goal would have completely broken them and opened the floodgates. Shame it didn't work out like that, but the way we eventually ended up doing it felt more Bladey somehow
It was so so Bladey - bloody lost opportunity, a disciplined side who have a bit of thrust in midfield would have taken them to bits

Very frustrating

Our plucky little neighbours managed to put up the token level of fight that their absolute shitness allowed for for a short time once we went down to ten. I’m talking about their fans as much as the players there.

But in the end we did the kind thing of putting down the ancient family mongrel that has been in pain for quite a while and has done nothing but sleep and fart for the last few years, stinking the place out. They can have some sort of peace now, back in the comfort zone of L1 which, over the years, has become their realistic ceiling.

He isn't
It's disappointing the sending off ruined our chances of getting more goals but the stats tell the story
Especially the xg

BBC had the xg even more in our favour at 1.96. One or other of the sites has obviously got the 9 and 6 the wrong way round.

As you say, they were only really a threat at all for 10-15 minutes or so after the sending off when we were a bit disorganised. For the vast majority of that game we were comfortable.

Pretty sure I saw you leading chants of ‘ We’re all having a party when Sheffield Wednesday dies’

If it was a boxing match they won the 6th round
We put them on their arse 1st & 2nd and had them on a knee in the 9th & 10th

Punchers chance they could always grab one - but had it stayed 11v11 that would have been 4 or 5 nil

A lot of them are excited for next season as if it's going to be a big reset, a renaissance. They'll be in League Two before they're back in the Championship. I still have a theory that our owners are behind this Borx thing and the intention is to drive them into the f*cking ground until we're genuinely the only club in a one club big city

Fuck 'em. If you'd had to mix it with them from the late 70's, you wouldn't feel one milligram of sympathy for the bastards. I'm loving every second of their slow and painful death.......long may it continue..........ideally until Tesco Extra takes over the postcode S6 1SW............I'd shop there every week! 😊

I spent more time feeling sorry for us than them.

There's no way you can make a team on -7 points in February look decent but we gave it a damn fucking good go.

They didn’t look decent at any point. We had a mini meltdown after KP walked which they squeezed in a shot, but they were never peppering our goal or a real threat from anywhere.

They looked more “on it” in that period because they’d been shite for the whole half before, so the improvement was amplified.

I have about as much sympathy for them as they have points on the board, a big fat fucking less than zero. Nor do I have sympathy for friends or family, casual acquaintances or media hacks, who may be perfectly reasonable in the day to day, but when footy's involved, they all get drawn to this mystery universe where their stadium isn't responsible for 96 deaths, they've been top end Premier League mainstays since its inception, their average crowd is around 400'000 and they've never lost to us.

They honestly think that should Pep leave City he'd want to go there. The list goes on, I genuinely believe they have some kind of mental deficiency similar to the MAGA morons over here. There's no reasoning with them so fuck 'em. I genuinely hope they go bust.
