Black shorts, white socks for ever associated with that fantastic side, my favourite not that a man my age should be wearing them.

Like the shirt although I like the black pin stripe effect.

Good job Blades, we're going to look the part anyway.

Now where's that F'ing striker ?

UTB - getting even more excited now.

Spot on mate - it'll appeal to the silver generation

I put "Not bothered, don't buy kits" on the poll before the picture went up. However, having seen it, I can't help thinking that, had it got a Macron or Le Coq Sportif logo on, people would be moaning "the stripes are too thick", "why is there no black on the shirt" and "white socks? What's all that about?"

Brand snobs? Blades fans? You betcha!

As stated, I'm not fussed about the kit myself, it's unlikely I'd buy it, good or shit.

At the risk of getting 'Pelters,' I quite liked Le Coq :o

With you on that. Looking back we have had white socks more than any other over the years, so it sort of seems to be the right colour. And for me, like you forever associated with the fabulous team, the kits below are the epitome of a Blades kit. The new one, allowing for modern idioms, aint half bad.

The Wards sponsored home kit when Dean Saunders and the Don were in the side had broad stripes.

I like it - was never keen on the thin black stripe in between but then I first saw the Blades when Woodward and Currie were strutting their stuff in their pomp. Ok there were five stripes back then but the new one looks cock on

You can't please all of the people all of the time but the majority seem pretty happy with this kit, I haven't bought a shirt since the mid 90's but I reckon I'll get one of these. Good stuff.

The black stripe was introduced when Woody and TC were playing. They were the first to wear that design, I think. OK not our finest hour that season but it's been used from time to time for nearly 40 years. Time flies.

Yes, but

Is that it, all done and dusted, no more drawings/mock ups, looking at PSG/AEK/Celtic/whoevers kits for another 9 months?

Thank fuck for that.

On the basis that there are only 3 types of people supporting any club (1. Will buy whatever, 2. Won't buy whatever (i.e. ME) or 3. Will buy it if its any good) then it sounds that they've managed to hit 3 pretty well, which is ALL that matters.

Roll on some player signings and something worth actually talking about.

There's the away kit to come Greciers...

1. It shows the club is listening and thinking of the fans and not just churning out yet another kit for purely commercial gain.

/QUOTE]

Or that by churning out a kit people actually like they will make more commercial gains.

Thumbs up from me for the kit, we just need a season to match it,

There's an easy way to not let it bother you... Don't click on the kit thread button. If you click it by mistake just click the back button.
