Another fine from EFL incoming!!!

Plus them poor buggers who have travelled today will have to fork out for a midweek night match…. So embarrassing by us.
Met some Oxford fans and they had stayed over night in Sheffield, with tickets they are about £450 out of pocket.

Postponements are part and parcel of football. Admittedly, not usually for us - something technical has clearly gone awry (ie technical issues).

Conspiracy theories are silly and make zero sense.

It's frustrating, not just from support logistics aspect but even more so about the chance to keep the momentum going and secure 3 points at a very good time.

Feel bad for the Oxford fans who travelled up or stayed over night to just find out it was a waste of time.

It's not even been that bad this morning, it's just cold. Someone's messed up somewhere.

Don't know what to do with the extra time I've got today now!

A sympathy wank over a picture of Alison Hammond?

As someone said earlier if the pitch has been widened SINCE the undersoil heating has been laid it may not stretch for the entire width of the pitch plus an area beyond the touchline for linesman and throwers-in.

Surely when the undersoil heating was installed they would have ensure the extent of grass was covered not just where the amendable touchlines were at that point.

Many ways of looking at this.

We’re playing well and we could have put pressure on teams above by cutting the gap to 5 points from 6th and 9 from second (I know, a big ask, but single figures would have felt significant if only for a few hours!).

But then if one of the key players got injured and it impacted the January plans we’d be cursing.

Also, it might have been one game too far.

In the end it’s extra recovery time for Peck, Mee, Davies, Shackleton and it also gives Wilder more time to get his squad how he wants it, probably lifting the mood further by removing players who aren’t playing from the day to day.

If you are going to achieve, whilst I’d rather have the points, having a game in hand at home vs second bottom isn’t the worst.

Feel for travelling fans of both clubs and I wonder with undersoil hearing what has transpired. Maybe it was just a really bad, cold snap and the heating just couldn’t thaw it in time?

To be honest, I keep reading this conspiracy but that’s highly unlikely. Not beyond the realms of possibility but unlikely

It also means the team we are playing after the rearranged game will probably have a week to prepare, whereas we will only a few days to recover and prepare.
That team could be Wednesday

If that’s the case then we’ve probably got little to worry about!

Who knows, it could be vs Ipswich and they also have to rearrange.

I wonder if we’ll go for a quick turnaround or go for one of the last FA Cup weekend slots when we may both be out of the cup anyway and could play on a Saturday?

There is no FA cup slot to put it into

Postponements at the level we are at, for this reason, isn't acceptable.

A deluge, fog, locusts, unexploded ordnance id accept. A frozen pitch isn't. And not when it was single figures below zero.

The late call was unacceptable too.

Back home now and still fuming.

Absolutely brilliant decision by Widler to turn off the heating. Hope he never gets found out.
No he went in via his secret door where he carried his stash out of.
But I do agree after all the moaning about fixtures it looks dodgy
