Best goal I’ve seen us score live - Enda Stevens against Brighton in our first season back in the Premier League.

Best goal I’ve seen us concede live - McAllister rocket in the top right corner Anfield away when we lost 3-1 or Bruno away at Old Trafford when we lost 4-2.

Lee Evans against Boro is the best I can think of. Not sure about opposition goals, I try to forget about them.

Against? Don’t know why it sticks in my mind but Gordan Petric scored an absolute screamer at the Kop end for Palace circa 1999.

Dean Saunders cheeky throw in, Tri Dellas against Pompey, or Brian Deane chip over his own shoulder in Division 3 (so good he did it twice - Bristol Rovers and PNE if I remember rightly which I probably don't).

It has to be Dean Saunders goal from a throw in. I’ve never seen anything similar or as clever in watching football, for 65+ years.

Jon Harley scored a really nice goal for West Ham in a 3-3 draw.

I think in the grand scheme of things it couldn’t really be considered ‘the best goal ever’ but thanks to where I was sitting on John Street I was right behind the strike so could see it arrowing into the postage stamp in the top corner.

Tend to black out good goals against us. The one that sticks in my mind most recently was Harvey Barnes’s half volley. It wasn’t amazing, but I remember thinking that’s great technique and having some admiration. Probably last time.

Did someone score a screamer in the last minute at home in League 1. Think everyone applauded. Was a volley. Can’t remember the team or player.

The Lee Evans one/two in the same game, were cracking goals - didn’t mean quite as much though

In terms of technique I'd say Brown v Wendy definitely the best. Can't remember too many against us that were special because I've probably deleted them from memory but Tudgay for Wednesday v us was decent, much as I hate saying it. I was above the Wednesday fans that day too. Awful!

Forgot Cantonas goal. Was right behind the goal on the kop for that too. Some strike. And then just stood there in front of us lapping it up. What a player.
