Don't know if anyone on here reads it, but there's a thread on Sheffield Forum about the tram/transport situation, in which
the very first reply manages to shoehorn in, not only a mention of Boxing Day, but also a mention of the attendance. In fact, just looking at it again now, prior to writing this post, I noticed that
the very first 3 words are "Boxing Day 1979", and
the very next word after that is the attendance:
Remember, this is not on a thread about past Steel City Derbies, or a general Steel City Derby thread, it's on a thread specifically about the transport situation for Sunday's match, and still,
the very first three words, in the very first reply are about Boxing Day, and
the very next word, in the very first reply, the attendance that day.
And I've just noticed, reading further into the thread, that
only four replies later the Boxing Day attendance has already been inflated from 49,309 to 50,000:
Never change, piggy wiggies

, never change!

Link to thread, in case anyone wants to read it:
(There's both Blades and pigs on that thread, btw, and I note that none of the Blades have shoehorned in a reference to the much more recent Bouncing Day - but, hey,
they're the classy ones, don't forget!
