I'll be so stoked for the lad if he gets back into the first team. He must have been at an incredible mental high just before his injury. Things were going in a brilliant direction. I hope he gets back to where he was. I'm not across the details of his injury, but if he managed to avoid serious soft tissue damage, and it was 'just' a break, that's now fully repaired without lasting mechanical differences, he stands a great chance!

Like you, I'm not privy to the details but a 14-month layoff suggests that this was more than just a break. I'm made up for him that he's back though and hope he can pick up where he left off.

FWIW I note that Hayden Carson (Scott Carson's son) who inflicted the injury is represented by that Ben Thatcher. Hmmm.
