I am not just saying this because we are shit at the moment, but in agreement with the OP, there is indeed more to life, and I can't be the only one who feels less and less connected to football as the seasons roll on by.

The league that everyone wants to get to is sleep inducing to watch, and bar one valiant effort, our seasons in that division have been traumatic in recent years. Whilst our "attempts" to get there are at best, a mixed bag.

At 60 minutes today I actually started prepping the evening meal early, whilst keeping one eye on the game. One of those activities was good use of my time. You can never cook a Ragu for too long, and the Lasagne it helped to make was delicious.

I love football and the Blades, but it is a long way from being my main interest and there are quite a few things that are much more important. Means different things to different people at different times but it's important to not tie it too much to your mental wellbeing. We all know it can put a downer on a weekend though. Even just knowing how buzzing you would have been if we'd won, more than actually being down at us losing. Always more emotions for me with Wilder being in charge.
