Fuck Warnock!!Get him in and quick
Interview optionalIf I don’t turn us round in 3 games I’ll quit ( provided all out of pocket expenses have been reimbursed)![]()
Is that what Neil named his son?Fuck Warnock!!
I like how he's doing his full on caring man management to Andy Gray, before Leeds away, then just turns around to Andy Liddell - "Lids, ya on bench son!"![]()
I agree, but I think the game has largely left that type of manager behind.I don't care if it's unfashionable or behind the times, give me a manager like this over losers like Russell Martin or Liam Rosenior.
Totally agree. spot on. I loved Warnock when he was with us but wherever he went after that they were the best club he had worked for, best fans, best set of lads etc. Could never see Wilder wanting the Wednesday job or Bassett for that matter. The poem he read at the City Hall was cringeworthy as was his treatment of Michael Tonge. He came across as a right arrogant and ignorant git. He has gone right down in my estimation over the yearsIt's not that I see Warnock as a dinosaur at all. His methods clearly work and he's a very good manager, especially in the Championship
But since he left United he seems to have distanced himself from the club. His love affair with United was just in the moment, just like he is anywhere else. It's like he never managed us in a way. He clearly wanted the Wednesday job not just once but twice. No real Blade would do that.
I remember his comments after Huddersfield played Boro (Boro had recently sacked him) where he said they'd be doing all they can to stop United. He didn't need to say that. It's clear him and Wilder don't get on.
You can say what you like on Wilder but Wilder genuinely cares for United. Warnock cares wherever he is and that's about it.
I also had the misfortune to go and see Warnock at the City Hall. My mate wanted to go, I was 50/50. The bit where he felt the need to read through a ten minute poem he'd wrote is ten minutes of my life I'll never get back!
'Losers like Liam Rosenior'I don't care if it's unfashionable or behind the times, give me a manager like this over losers like Russell Martin or Liam Rosenior.
