One of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever read. What the fucking hell were they thinking? Running the club like a market stall 🤣
Worked on a market stall as a youth, had to do an hours unpaid trial before got the job, so even fuckin worse

If this guy is the "first team coach", does that mean we've effectively made Wilder into director of football by the back door? Could just be me but I thought "first team coach" basically meant "manager". GLTTL of course, but what a shitshow
Yeah, wasn't Sellés first team coach?

Although, he was The First Team coach. Ramos is A first team coach. Important distinction.

Does this mean Wilder’s now a ‘yes man’ 👀
Who knows, there's plenty of theories on here already including mine, when Wilder says he's been aware of him,it could realistically be from his time at Forest.
The only other reason for his appointment could be to benefit Soumare about tactics and training if his English is not good but he knows Portuguese, but that's stretching it.

Interesting appointment. CW's back room team has gone stale and needed updating. Also having a foreign coach is a step forward in terms of style of play and having a member of the coaching staff who can converse in a foreign language. Soumare should benefit from his own countryman being on the staff.

The converse is Ramos is a complete unknown and his CV is hardly inspiring. Add in the Bulgarian links to the Board member who plays poker and it raises questions about whether COH understand how to run a football club.

If Ramos convinces the manager to switch formation to 3-4-1-2 and ditch the turgid slow triangle passing in the corners he will get my vote. Unfortunately it will be rightly perceived as just another vanity project for a Board member who gives the impression he knows about football. He seems to have far too much influence in decision making at the moment.

The case for a DOF is growing day by day.

My mistake its a Portugese club he's been loaned from. Hopefully Ramos can speak French.
You would imagine that Soumare is at least conversant if not fluent in Portuguese from his time there.
And I'm sure the club has an interpreter, not to mention the ability to arrange English language lessons... So Ramos hired to talk to Soumare seems a thin straw at which to clutch!

With the way the clubs been run at the minute I wouldn’t put it past them that our interpreter is just Knill repeating Wilder but slower and with more pointing.

Quite worrying really.

As it stands, the owners might as well put any one of us on the coaching staff or in the DOF role, since we'll have all seen and know far more about football than the people signing the cheques have or will ever do.

Wilder used to talk about "Playstation managers" when his bosses are now just that.

On a lighter note, when I first saw the photo of Ramos, I thought we'd signed Ruben Neves to solve our midfield problems!
