Torres was an incredible player until the last World Cup. Seems he suffered an accumulation of injuries from which he never recovered, physically and mentally.

He'll be back at Atletico shortly.

Felt sorry for him last night. Chelsea tactics barely warranted naming a striker yet he still got slated for not doing enough.

With what he had to do last night he was very good. Lone striker with no one near him and won at least two free kicks Chelski should have done better with. If they had scored one of them Torres would have been touted has having played that roll brilliantly.
I really cannot see what people expected more from him last night, he had no support against a back four who do not concede many. No where near worth what they paid but come on.
