Almost every Blades fan saying Cooper and Dyche are by far the outstanding candidates … so obviously COH. Are going to pick Carrick instead.
I think Churchill said that Americans always make the right decision after they’ve explored every other possibility first.
Looks like he was right 😀

Selles must have Bulgarian great grand parents.

Whats them star tatts on his elbows all about >>>>

A star tattoo on the elbow can signify a guiding light, hope, or a reminder to stay positive, especially when it's a nautical star. However, in some cultures, a star on the elbow or "black star" can represent a past prison term, serving as a reminder of lost freedom or even symbolizing the number of people a person has killed. For many, a star tattoo may simply be a trendy design or a personal expression of choice without deeper meaning.

selles tattos.webp

If Selles goes, I'd like a foursome of Wilder, Knill, Hecky and McCall with Warnock overseeing it all as DOF. We'd surely get top 10 with that lot in charge.
Good post but we would still need Jack Lester to coach the strikers and sign Billy Sharp in January window as player coach to get us over the line

You’re seriously suggesting that COH spent the best part of a year and £100m buying a professional football club, only to pull the name of a manager they want out of a hat? Does that seem likely?
No, not really.

It was more of a flippant remark written as a comment that describes, in my opinion, how the present ownership seems to be struggling in their managerial decision making processes given what they have decided on already and what, if it came to pass, appointing Carrick would suggest. I thought most people would have had the basic intelligence to see it exactly as just that and not take it at all literally.

Obviously not.

Fucks sake. There's some reyt mongtards out there trying to appear contrarian and smart. Listened to too many podcasts and read the Guardian have we? Dozen regular starters?!?! We've lost Moore, Anel and Sousa.

Go on, 'expert', riddle me this.... He's had all Summer to get the squad that finished third last season set up and organised and playing Selles-ball. But a bunch of players who played most of last season now look like a disorganised an disinterested group who have scored 1 goal in 4 games (two which had zero shots on target).

If your answer is, it's the players fault, I've got some magic beans to sell you!
Gilchrist- 31 appearances
Souttar - 22
Brewster - 42
Rak-Sakyi- 36
Brereton-Diaz - 18
Choudhury - 19
Arblaster - 12
Holding - 11
plus, the 3 you recall
Moore 30
Ahmedhodzic 42
Souza 37

In answer to your “riddle”, I repeat, he’s had 4 games - (all of which have been awful) how many (similarly) ) awful performances/ results did you witness last season?

A quick squint @ The Guardian reminds me that we eclipsed such failure (by 1 point) in consecutive fixtures against Plymouth Millwall Oxford & Blackburn and in the process ‘blew’ promotion . In hindsight it may have been prudent to have used your magic beans at that juncture?

Oh ,
and
“trying to appear…. smart” is not especially difficult when compared to someone who’s vocabulary includes “mongtard” - I’ll hazard a guess even ‘The Sun’ wouldn’t routinely utilise such language.

Must dash I’ve got(contrarian) podcasts to listen to.

Last bit > "Expect a very difficult competition this year, but we expect my team also to be very difficult to beat this year." 👀

Boro fans absolutely loved his football during the season when they were hunting us down and when Hecky eventually took us up.

I think we could do a lot worse, but lets see if Selles can turn it around first.

There transfer windows after this point wasn’t good enough & I think was the downfall.

Carrick’s team in that first season when they beat us was some of the best I’ve seen. I watched a few of their games that season as they were chasing us & they were just battering teams.

I’m not sure what went wrong after that

And a statement every hour from the board.
Fatal flaw in these proposals
Weeerz (fuck) Wit?

Guess he’s a ‘shoe in’ for the Communications role given his CV?

You wouldn’t be the first to tell me I lack basic intelligence. Good job I’m incredible looking.

Sorry mate. I was in a bit of a bad mood last night after some bloody caseworker incorrectly started questioning my work and I got a bit 'high and mighty' and ended up in a strop!

Completely my fault and I sincerely apologise. I'm not 'Mastermind' myself so get a bit carried away sometimes.

Luckily, I'm fairly gorgeous too! Suppose "you can't have everything. After all, where would you put it"? (S Wright)

He became obsessed with possession apparently. There was zero plan b and when teams came to the Riverside they sat deep and hit them on the counter, there were lots of smaller sides who went and won there particularly during his final season.

That’s a shame! His football in his first season was the opposite. Handbrakes off & the front 3 we’re fluid

Anyone seen the interview with rio Ferdinand talking to Harry Maguire, He raved about Carrick on the coaching side at man utd and said how well organised the team was under him. So its a yes from me if we go down that road

There's lots of people who rave about ruben selles as a coach but doesn't mean he's a good manager. Carrick record at Boro was ok, nothing more. I'd much rather someone who's done something of note at least once! Is that too much to ask?!

I have an idea? Why don’t we bring in Terry Venables to help Ruben? He’s a Spanish speaker and brings top flight experience. He did a similar job with Brian Robson.

Well, I'm sorry anyway.

No, nothing that important. An agency of HMRC. Two more years and I'm done, though. Life is too important and I have lots to do and be grateful for.

Let's hope United can bloody well cheer me up soon.

We'll need Derek Acorah too.
