The collar of our shirts, training ground and academy all have ‘Outrun, Outfight, Outplay’ displayed in them.

I’m not sure if they were implemented by Wilder in 2016 or if they were from someone else.

We’re not bothering with any of them currently.

I wasn’t expecting a massive name but soon as I heard Selles I thought it was pepple winding me up.

It is the most baffling managerial appointment I can recall.

No on one seems to know what his formation/preferred style is we were told he is an out and out attacking manager yet we didn't have a shot on target at Swansea to my recollection.

There is no structure and no cohesion at all and no leadership so far and that is the worrying part.

Let's see how things look when the transfer window shuts and he's had the international break to work with the new squad.

I totally agree, its been a very hard watch so far, but i think Selles prefers more technical and athletic players for his systems, which is something we didn't have last season.

As i keep harping on, the last couple of months of last season and 1st month of this have been tough watching.
This hasn't just started since Selles came in.

I am happy to give him a little more time and patience, but if things dont show signs of change by October, I'll be in the car park with my shoes off.

Some may say that's too late for a promotion push, but if I'm honest, i didn't think we would be in one last season and with last seasons drop off and the player turnover, i didnt expect to be in one this season either.
 
If we lose next 2, I dont see any other option. You can't lose all of your first 6 games (all comps) in a season where you are one of the favourites for promotion.

There's plenty of good free agent managers available.

Just as well that part of its been resurfaced won't hurt your feet as much!!!!

Agree. But would it be fair to say that the only people not surprised by our start are us, the fans.

I think that there is a bit more to it than just that TBH, and whilst I agree that the players are not really covering themselves in glory, there appears to be a bigger picture than just the players have downed tools?

I think that this weekend will tell us a lot more regarding the current player commitment and mentality TBH (new players, game on TV, etc)?

He's running out of excuses because a bunch of players we didn't have in the last game are now here? Despite him already saying "there are no excuses"?

Him saying that he left Soumare out becauuse he thought Peck Hamer and O'Hare could control the midfield is up there with Wilder saying that we signed Cannon to get some pace at the top of the pitch.

Shows a level of tactical unawareness that is so blatantly incorrect that it makes you wonder if they are taking the piss.

I understand it's possible to change votes by the end of today if anyone would like to, or vote if you haven't already.
 
I voted sack after he said he left Soumare out because he thought we could dominate midfield with the tiny, unathletic trio.

This man used to work as a bloody analyst! How can he keep getting our basic set-up so wrong? All of his subs are terrible - the team look stressed, disorganised and about as together as the T1000 after Arnie shot him when he froze at the end of Terminator 2.

I've never called for a manager's head before, I even unwisely thought Adkins deserved another year! But we should get rid of this moron now so we can try to salvage the season.

Having said all that, I don't think the board will sack him for a good few weeks yet, and we'll be lucky to scrape a respectable mid-table spot.
