Ridiculously good finish as well.
He was brilliant against us at Bramall Lane earlier in the season. Caused Gilchrist all sorts of problems in the first half.

He plays on the wrong wing though. We already have Barry and Hamer that can play that role.

Selles ball has gone for me, sign players now that a new coach can try and get a structure/spine through the team with until Jan, then see where we're at? It may be a time then to sell Gus, etc depending on league position, etc and start slowly trying to build a new identity from there, with a coach with an obvious plan/vision.

I agree with no further development signings as we have enough through our academy and what we have on the quota for a few seasons now. We don't necessarily need a new coach if Selles is working with the board and the players to pick a system that works, we potentially have a strong CB pairing now arguably either a back 3/5 or 4 it is about giving Hamer the chance to shine and the chances to Ings and Campbell in the box.

A permanent deal couldn't be made because the selling club wanted too much.
So probably Million Manhoef at Stoke?

The player we've moved onto is a loanee from a PL club.
Not sure if T-Blade described them as exciting but said it's reasonably close and name would likely be out by the end of the week.

Franz Carr eas like that too! I was gutted when he left after relegation in 94 because he had some class about him. In my view Harry should have played Flo right wing/forward because he could really cross a ball could Flo and he played right forward for Norway.

I think Poveda the most likely! Mundle is injured I think and spent most of last season injured. It's not going to be Mayenda or Isidor that's for sure!

That was my thinking. BBD scored a few goals that probably mask how ineffective he was- a complete shadow of the player we had in the previous season.

Wilder went through a weird phase of freezing both Rak-Sakyi and Brooks out at various points over the season.

I’m not sure I craved Rak Sakyis return as much as I did Mcatee’s after his spell with us. He was good & clearly those numbers are strong, but is there any big games last season you saw he tear an opponent apart? Did he ever take a game by the scruff of the neck and win it for us.

Having said all the above, he’s better than what we’ve currently got so I’m not sure what I’m expecting!

Yeah he mentioned the red and white winger being a championship player that we were priced out of. I imagine probably Manhoef based on us being linked with him every 20 minutes.

There were a few games (Oxford away, Millwall home come to mind) where we were doing absolutely nothing. He came on and we had multiple chances within minutes. I know we still lost but he made a huge difference and actually gave us a chance.

He should have played a lot more than he did.

Thinking about it. Yes you're right. He did play on the left (number 11 shirt) but always cut inside. Rarely went to the by-line and cut it back.
